I'm a passionate MR8 ranked Nintenno Switch player in Warframe. I'm also a character who excercises an 'obscuro' art style with the pen. Here is something I drew last night of a Lotus flower! :)

My first prime warframe , I know most people might have her now , but it feels so good to log in and claim her from the foundry after hours of farming her parts ... I really should have started this game earlier

Indicator for when a weapon is also a part for another weapon.

    Posted: 28 Jan 2019 10:41 AM PST

So, being fairly new and unaware, I have sold multiple weapons to make room for new ones, not knowing that some weapons are needed as parts to create other weapons.

Would it be possible to add some type of indicator to the weapon in the inventory/foundry/wherever? Something simple, like an up arrow in the upper right corner, that would indicate this weapon is a part for another weapon? If the weapon it is a part of is mastered, then maybe put the mastery symbol on it to tell us it isn't needed?

Is this dumb? It just seems like a big pain to have to look up every single weapon to make sure we won't need it later. I am also not a big fan of things that make you leave the game to find something out.

The bane of Warframe bossfights: Invulnerability

    Posted: 28 Jan 2019 05:16 AM PST

At no point ever have I heard a player say "invulnerable enemies are fun!" and frankly, Warframe's bossfights are full of these.

Invulnerability can be completely fine if there's a **non-RNG** (looking at you Orbmother) path of actions players can take to end it early. In Warframe however you're either stuck waiting, doing nothing or forced to keep rolling an RNG dice. Non of these two is particularly fun.

Not being able to use Warframe abilities or status effects against bosses is a similar letdown - it's giving somebody a whole set of LEGO bricks then telling them "you must only use 2x1 blocks". I mean - there's always an option to reduce effectiveness instead of rendering it completely useless (e.g. Viral only reduces boss hp by 10%).

With Sorties, Acolytes and other mission types that put us back in finished content we're likely cursed to repeat those tedious encounters, but looking forward I really hope that after the Orbmother backlash DE will FINALLY get the hint and not make the same mistake for the 20th time when the 2nd Orbmother fight is due.

P.S: Can we have a "Rant"-Flair on this subreddit?
