Perhaps we could get a (easy?) solution to help remove clutter and useless items from the foundry

I don't even know what to say about this. How did any of the UI Designers think this is a intuitive design?!

Please DE, Remove the Conclave Challenge requirement for the Celestia Syandana to work

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 08:31 PM PDT

The fully lit Celestia Syandana is probably my favorite syandana, and if it weren't for the weird and tedious requirement, I would gladly farm conclave standing to obtain it.

Weirdly enough, this sort of non-rng reward that you can slowly work towards is in my opinion a reward structure well constructed, but knowing that the syandana wouldn't even work unless I finish some obscure challenges that reset every week is really only good for killing my motivation to obtain it.

    So... DE plz

Events like Hostile Mergers show that Warframe is in major need of a substantial rebalance pass.

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 07:03 AM PDT

Operation: Hostile Mergers main threat, the demolyst, is the challenging main "mechanic" the player is supposed to deal with throughout the event, the issue is, that the only apparent way to make content challenge is to make enemies immune to basically everything the player has to offer but raw damage itself, since most status procs don't affect them and they're immune / cleanse themselves of every ability thrown at them.

If the only way to make content, which is meant to be hard, considerate of a player's knowledge, is to remove every option that isn't brute force, then the system in which the content is placed into is flawed.

If the only way to make content, which is meant to be hard, competitive, is to make it a game of who can abuse, cheese and play the game for as long as humanly possible, with skill being an afterthought instead of being the main requirement, then the system in which the content is placed into is flawed.

If the only way to make content, which is meant to be hard, challenging, is to make the content abnormally diverge from the previously established norms of power, then the system in which the content is placed into is flawed.

Warframe tries time and again to provide the extra bit of edge in challenge to missions, but time and again it is shown that the player is capable of waltzing through content as if the challenge it is supposed to provide doesn't exist until the mark is hit in which the content goes problematic and borderline abuse of the game is required to beat the irregularity in an otherwise easy march through the game.

This could be addressed by streamlining damage values across the board, revamping the damage systems, reevaluating power economy and taking a look at enemy behavior and mission layouts as a total.

Warframe was always a game that Improves itself, starchart reworks, damage reworks, Warframe reworks, modding reworks, melee reworks etc.

But similar to how melee is currently stuck in its 2.99999 state, Warframe is stuck a position, where it's just shy of going to the next big jump, but can't make it, since the crumbling foundation of castles built on top of the ruins of the previous castle can't support the next big leap, so a new foundation is required.

A big sweep through, that looks at every system in the game and sets it up to a new standard, where progress feels consistently meaningful, yet never frustrates the player, where enemies may need to be outplayed by smarts, instead of blowing their brains out in a battle of wits, a game where boss fights are equally as memorable due to their great mechanics and fulfilling fights as much as the personalities that give them life.

Out of all the reworks, rebalances and redesigns Warframe needs, Warframe itself needs to make its jump to 2.0 since the path ahead is only ought to become worse as the ground beneath it slips away as the ruins finally give in to the pressure of layers of system specific reworks and redesigns, which are made isolated from everything around it.

A new castle is needed, the experience with Warframe made being the foundation and Warframe 2.0 the brickwork that raises it.

The Cyanex is the closest thing to a Needler we've got now.

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 05:28 PM PDT

We've had quite a few Needler approximates in Warframe:

Tysis (semi-auto and no homing or explosions)
Hystrix (really looks like the Needler but still no homing or explosions)
Zakti (shoots exploding needles but semi-auto and no homing)

But with the Cyanex is the only one that fully mimics all the behaviours of the Needler. It shoots in full-auto slow homing projectiles that ricochet upon hitting surfaces and explode upon hitting an enemy (represented by Gas procs for the Cyanex).

Is it just me or does Jupiter seem a lot darker on the starmap now that Operation: Hostile Mergers ended? Also was the rock always there?

I was so hapy to finaly buy the palatine pack just to see that the syandana is not the actual thing showcased, in the showcase it fits perfectly with rhino's back, but in reality there is an empty distance which is really triggering. is it due to the showcase position ? why the false markting ..

Team Composition was 3x Khora, 1x Frost as Roamer

Guide with Builds: Arbitration Excavation - The Endo Guide

    Past Results:

    Summary:

We changed up the strategy a bit this time by having the Frost roam around running batteries as opposed to starting and defending new excavators. By having him on the move he could return to previous excavators and recast his Snow Globes to help the Khoras out.

We lost ~15 excavators. Three deaths we were able to recover from, however a host crash at the end resulted in two player deaths from the migration, we decided to call it there. Disappointed we didn't break 200 digs! But there's always next time.

Good luck out there Tenno. As always, you'll know where to find us.

Protip: The Ropalolyst fight is the best farm for War hilts and blades currently.

It's still an 0.5% drop rate, but with 4 conculysts, that's 4 chances to get it. More if you have a Nekros.
