Warframe's most underappreciated feature as an online game Posted: 20 Sep 2019 08:17 PM PDT So experiencing the now periodic Warframe burnout (until the next content drop), thus for a change of pace I've been playing Monster Hunter World as my first foray into the franchise, and so far I've been massively enjoying it. However, playing that game and seeing the lack of a certain feature made me appreciate one of Warframe's less-spoken-of but very important features: Pause Game. When in solo mode, you're able to pause Warframe for whatever reason you might have, whether it's to take care of something important IRL, or if you need a bathroom break. As a mostly solo player it's a feature that I greatly appreciate for Warframe, and for online games that do support offline modes and singleplayer modes I do hope more of them have pause buttons. I think knockdown needs to be toned down. Posted: 20 Sep 2019 11:43 AM PDT You know there's something wrong when more than half of the mobs in the game deals a knockdown ranged attack everytime they spot the player. That's not "challenging" -- that's annoying. And no, a challenging content does not make it annoying -- or else it wouldn't be challenging (i.e makes you want to -really try- to beat a specific content), in first place. And before you ask me "what would be challenging for you, then?"... side-dodges, jumps, etc -- anything that makes the player focused in the game. And watching my warframe bounce back and forward like a soccer ball for 10 seconds nonstop while being defenseless and no way able to retaliate back is not what I call challenging -- but extremely annoying and unpleasant. And before someone says "Well, just use a knockdown resistance mod, then!" -- that'll not fix the problem. I'm not asking to remove knockdown -- I'm asking to tone it down. Add more varied attacks/dodges/whatever instead of forcing the player to keep defenseless for over 10 seconds. [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Sep 2019 10:49 PM PDT Hi all, just wanted to say I love this subreddit, the people here, Warframe, and DE. I was admitted to the ER today due to possible pulmonary embolism. Never thought I'd be doing this at 29. While everyone else around me seems worried reading every post here and learning more about the game has helped keep me from panicking. Take some time to tell your loved ones that you love them. Sometimes life is scary. [link] [comments]

Last few updates seem to have badly broken Sancti-Magistar. Posted: 20 Sep 2019 08:40 AM PDT Sancti-Magistars charge attack used to heal allies, specters, nekros minions, defence obectives/idiots, lures, everything. Since Saint of Altra it only heals other players and static defence objectives, with the latter only being healed by about 1/10 charge attacks. And since the last hotfix (which addressed something to do with syndicate weapons interacting with Titania) it only heals other players and absoloutely nothing else. The only old behaviour that still applies is that range mods still increase the heal radius. Overall this is a pretty huge nerf to a weapon that was already unpopular, and now what used to be a very useful backup heal for non healing frames doesn't have much more utility than a health pizza. (n= several 30+ minute missions of using nothing but charge attacks [while channeling] with no healing to anything except other players) [link] [comments]
