    [Discussion] DE nerfed drop chance increase abilities from letting them be used on the same enemy and is now selling the same drop chance they removed as a booster.

    Doesn't matter if it will be obtainable in another way that is not worth pursuing. They removed something that was part of the core game and are now selling it for money. This is extremely scummy behavior typical of companies like Trion and Nexon. Do not forget that DE BANS people for being lucky like with the Silver Grove fiasco. The grind is already unbearable for obtaining certain drops for people who aren't rich and this game has always been teetering on the definition of pay2win with the only defense being that it isn't a competitive game. However, removing something core to the game for YEARS and then selling it is very much something a pay2win game would do.

    There are several mods with ridiculously low drop rates which people have been complaining about for years. Releasing a mod drop chance booster as a paid item without addressing the worst offending near-unobtainable mods feels very wrong to me.

    • Condition Overload - Drekar Butchers - 0.0201%
    • Vermillion Storm - Kuva Guardians, (Drekar) Manic bombards - 0.404%, 0.268%
    • Four Riders - Manics- 0.335%
    • Kavat's Grace, Anti-Grav Array, Gale Kick, Odomedic - Lab Amalgams - 0.5% each
    • Vengeful Revenant - Conculysts - 0.417% (a rare enemy)
    • Bite - Drahks, Kubrows, Kuva Drahks - 0.0066%
    • Kinetic Diversion, Spring-Loaded Blade - Thumper Doma, PoE Commander variants (from Assassination Bounties) - 1.875%, 0.5%
    • A number of Archwing mods probably belong on this list

    If (also) spread across multiple common enemies, some of these drop rates would be acceptable, but the above mods are only obtainable from a single enemy with a chance completely disproportionate to the spawn rate.

    -edit- My worst concern is that, by adding mod drop chance boosters to the game, DE could potentially use it as an excuse to get away with adding even worse drop chances than the above.

    DE, could you please make thumper floofs rotate in the shop, to make more space for the masks? These two were added to the game but haven't shown at Nakak's even once. Why take cosmetics' place with an inside joke that was fun for like a week?

    Funny Story of the War Within

    So I was playing the War Within Quest for the first time yesterday, and I'd gotten to the cut-scene where you first meet the queens and the whole thing with Teshin. Was getting hyped for all this and had no idea what was going to happen (I had guessed I was gonna lose my frame or something then have to fight them again with another frame or something, wasn't expecting the operator thing though it was a great intro to that mechanic and all)

    Anyway got to the end of the cut-scene, you know the bit where you're frame's hovering in front of the queens and she's pointing the staff at you, all intense and all, she's saying something like "we gave you this power, and we can take it back." And then you lose connection to your frame and all Ordis says something about losing connection, then:

    My Wi-Fi disconnected.

    ... You know what, I wasn't even that mad, it was such a power move on her part though, so I think she won that round.

    Managed to get my Wi-Fi back a bit later, had to redo that mission on the quest, so I just sped through it (first time I was all stealthy and all (I'd been trying to up my Mastery Rank before starting that mission so had a level one Anku and no secondary, forgot to switch loadout so had a hell of a time sneaking past everyone)) but this time I just ran past everyone.

    Managed to beat the quest, but that whole thing was hilarious to me, should of seen it coming though, my Wi-Fi has been on the fritz the last few weeks, hell I've been trying to send this off near 15 minutes now.

    Subreddit suggestion: get automoderator or a subreddit bot to pin/link DEveloper comments at the top of the post they commented in.

    Having posts flaired with "DE response" is great and all but this would be a really nice extra step.

    They do this on the Destiny subreddit with u/DTG_Bot and the convenience of instantly seeing dev comments is really great. Having to scroll and hunt down the dev comment can be pretty annoying.
