    I particularly love the fact he uses the word "Endure". If it's so painful, all the more reason for DE to shut down conclave or make the rep earnable some other way. Games shouldn't be Endured, they should be enjoyed.

    For those who don't touch Conclave: would you play it if there were an option to play against bots instead of humans?

    With things like spectres and the friendly bots in Index matches, there's clearly already the rudiments of code to run AI tenno. Since I think a lot of players are put off by the performance anxiety and stress of playing against real people, if there were an option to just group up for a comp stomp, would you be be more interested in trying it out?

    I find it a little amusing that, in a game with this much focus on mobility, we've gotten Street Fighter and Lacrosse before a simple "race" mode.

    With all the ado about Conclave rep, I just have to think... wouldn't the easiest solution be to implement some kind of "race" mode? Something that doesn't come with the pressure that PvP shooting does, that leverages Warframe's strengths instead of just trying to dodge or ignore its weaknesses. Race modes could allow players to compete, sustaining the spirit of Conclave, but it could do so in a way more intuitive to the average player and, by its very nature, more quickly.

    There's even a variety of modes or implementations that could be reasonable:

    • Race to the finish of a randomly-generated obstacle course. Spoilerators disabled of course, and possibly also warframe abilities. Just a raw test of your mastery of the parkour systems.

    • Race through a tileset full of enemies; sections are cordoned off by doors that lock out a player until they achieve a requisite number of kills, and shortcuts exist which have extreme risk of taking heavy damage. These measures are there to increase the viability of DPS and Tank-based frames, so that the likes of Loki and Nova don't just blow everyone else out of the water.

    • Within a defined time limit, get as far as possible, either in terms of laps or zones in randomized parkour course, or in terms of raw distance from the starting line in a tileset, possibly with gates/shortcuts as before.

    The weirdest thing about the fact we don't have any of these is that DE has all the ingredients already. Hell, capture missions are basically already races, all DE needs to do is vary rewards based on who gets to extraction first. If they implement this, I'd bet PvP could be made a whole lot more palatable to more people - making Conclave rep less painful, in turn making PvP less toxic.

    50k kills, 28k deaths, max rank and obtained everything teshin has to offer. Personally I think if anyone is determined enough to grind one thing with a 5% drop rate (not sure, correct me if I'm wrong) nearly 300 times, I think they deserve the cosmetics more than me honestly.
