Make Nora send an inbox message when nightwave ends?

    Posted: 15 Oct 2019 02:07 AM PDT

We saw these posts of players missing the date nightwave ends coming from miles away. But doesn't that mean that we actually know not everyone checks the news section?
This is about a currency that becomes invalid. All relevant players should be made aware of this.

If an obvious timer in the actual nightwave menu isn't possible (cause DE doesn't know the enddate at the start). Then why not let Nora send an inbox message once it is known?

ps: I personally didn't miss the date.

Jupiter Secret Rooms: Amalgam Enemies Mod Drops still bugged?

    Posted: 15 Oct 2019 01:38 AM PDT

I did over 100 secret room (Sentient Labs) runs and on the last weekend I even intensified the mod farm and got myself a Mod Dropchance Booster from Baro Ki'Teer. I used Ivara and sometimes I had a Nekros with me for extra chances but none of the Mods dropped (Anti-Grav Array, Gale Kick, Kavat's Grace, Odomedic).

Did these Mods drop in the last couple of weeks for anyone? Or is it a bug to fix?

Edit: if it is not a bug, those seem to be the hardest mods to farm. Got all other mods, these are the last I'm missing.

I really want Syndicate commander voice packs.

    Posted: 14 Oct 2019 10:58 PM PDT

First; the High Arbiter of Hexis has a nice voice. I like listening to him.

Two; I'm tired of the blueberry bitch. I know she's coming back (???) soon but man, it's been like two years. Move on. Give us Teshin too. He's the only real cool uncle.

DE, you need to improve Puncture and Magnetic price. Both are garbage in practice.

    Posted: 14 Oct 2019 01:49 PM PDT

Magnetic looks good on paper, it's Viral, but for shields. Very cute. But in practice? It's garbage. If I wanted to kill shield heavy enemies, Toxic and Slash are better 100% of the time. And the ONE time Magnetic might have been helpful against that Orb enemy, you made them immune to mag procs!

Puncture is just awful in both practice and paper. Of the physical procs, you can CC them, or deal shield bypassing true damage that is only 1 of 2 viable end game tactic. Then you have puncture...which make enemies deal a bit less damage. Maybe in a more tactical game puncture might make sense. But this is a looter shooter focused entirely on instagibbing roomful of enemies. Puncture doesn't fill any niche is the issue. There's never a reason to want to proc puncture. Not to mention, why the hell does it do what it does? Puncture should either reduce armor or boost critical % or damage. Not make the trooper's grakata deal less damage for some reason.

    Dojo Decoration idea: NPC "Statues"

    Posted: 14 Oct 2019 10:10 PM PDT

When you get to your giant cavernous dojos, do you ever feel like they're completely empty? Like you're the only one in this massive complex? What's the point for all this space! (Other than making giant robots and ice dragons and stuff)

Well, if roombas Domestiks have given us a sense of life, how much life do you think we could get with NPCs!

So what is an NPC Statue and what makes that different than an NPC? Realistically, not much. However Fortuna and Cetus (and soon the Railjack Drydock) have many examples of NPC Statues. What makes an NPC statue different than a true NPC is:

    1. They cannot be interacted with, regardless of how loud they are or how much you want that good. (Looking at you, Dye trader and Rug trader)

    2. They go through a small animation loop that doesn't change position, or returns to a starting position. This gives the appearance of movement and life without having to worry about pesky pathing or more complex animations.

    3. They're generally nameless and unimportant. (Pedlek might be one of the few exceptions at this time)

Here's a small album of examples at Cetus.

So what would the point of this be? Well realistically not much! It's just a small animation thing that gives Dojos more of a sense of "bigger picture" or less vacant space.

    Dethcube stops working mid mission

    Posted: 15 Oct 2019 03:51 AM PDT

So, ever since I got Dethcube Prime, I have tried to use it as much as possible. Made it the killing machine it's supposed to be. But it just stops working and will continue like that for the rest of the mission.

    Anyone else noticed this?

    I'm at PS.

(And yes, I have placed mods where they belong.)
