Friendly remainder that Gas damage is still bugged and you cannot have more than 10 active damage procs. Posted: 16 Apr 2020 03:19 PM PDT Lets even ignore the loss of additional scaling from Toxin mods, because this post isn't about balance per se. It is about mechanic/design (?)/bug that is plaguing this damage type. Gas is currently the only damage type that has its Damage over Time (DoT) proc/effect mechanically capped at 10 stacks. You can have 80 stacks of Slash, Toxin, Electric or Heat, and they will increase your proc damage, but Gas is forever capped at 10. It means that the only weapons viable for Gas are big hitting weapons with slow fire rate that won't apply above 10 Gas prcs - this is the only way to not waste Gas proc damage When DE changed the AoE to scale up in size from 1 to 10 stacks, something must have broken. submitted by /u/Bristoling [link] [comments]
