My New "Warframeized" Meme - 3 Types Of Girls

    Posted: 12 May 2020 12:41 AM PDT

I came from Destiny and I gotta say 1 thing.

    Posted: 11 May 2020 04:26 PM PDT

How are you all so nice. Its strange to me being from a mostly toxic destiny community how the community is so nice. Not complaining, more like thanking the community for accepting a salty guy like me.

Day 2 I got picked up by a group and now I daily play with them which is unusual for me who is used to being told must have [fill in ridiculous requirement here] in destiny.

So basically I'm saying thanks warframe community for restoring my faith in humanity

I was today years old when I learned that Corpus Techs can also hack downed Bursas

    Posted: 11 May 2020 06:56 PM PDT

Posting here because I didn't see this addressed on the Wiki on either pages. During a Kuva Flood I knocked out an Isolator Bursa and didn't bother with hacking it while I went to attack other units.

I turned around and noticed a Tech (the ones in red jumpsuits that fire Supras, Corpus equivalent to Heavy Gunners, etc.) hacking it in a similar manner to Ambulas' boss fight and making it hostile again. I killed it again and this time it died immediately. I didn't think to take a PS4 screen just because it happened so fast, but this should be recreateable in Simulacrum. If not I can just take a screen of it happening in a different mission.

It's probably not dangerous to any "immortal" or "nuke" builds but I thought it might be worth mentioning here. Given that Techs, up to this point in my playthrough, have only been exhibited as deploying Shield drones, I thought it was kinda cool that they can also perform "tech support" to a degree. Might also make prioritizing them along with Bursas worthwhile

Hard mode Vor should say "You should have listened" and instantly teleport behind the player when he spawns

    Posted: 11 May 2020 04:54 AM PDT

Hard mode is an opportunity to shake up the existing encounters. If the dialogue and movesets will stay the same, it will just be the Normal Mode But Faster.

Railjack Universal Vacuum should be the standard across the game

    Posted: 11 May 2020 07:46 AM PDT

*With the exception of active gameplay drops (ammo pickups, orbs, etc)

Losing out on loot because you didn't see it or you weren't fast enough to pick it up before the mission is over feels pretty bad overall.

Stuff like Resources, Parts, Blueprints, Mods, and other such things which have value outside of a mission should be automatically picked up for every player participating in that mission, or at the very least, there should be some kind of loot recovery system (Like Destiny's Postmaster, for example)

Imagine you have been trying to get that one last Brakk part from the G3 for months, you are doing a defense mission and they invade almost at the end of it, your squad kills one of them, doesn't mark the drop, and you aren't aware that part you wanted was in a corner of the map until you notice there's something you didn't grab, it could be the part you are looking for, it could be something else, you rush to it but the mission ends and the part was just barely outside your companion's vacuum range. Too bad, best luck next time, right?

I don't really understand why it has to be like this, I sort of understand the affinity range in ground missions, I believe that's alright, specially with how some abilities rely on affinity range instead of their own range value, if Universal Looting is good for Railjack, why not for the rest of the game?

If there really is a good argument against universal looting on ground missions, why not a Loot Recovery System instead?

Imagine you go to Maroo's Bazaar and she offers to sell back to you the loot you missed out on the last few missions you ran, maybe she's been tailing you this entire time, Tenno leave lots of valuable things behind after they completely destroy everything in their path, Tenno can't just pay attention to every shiny little thing that falls on the floor, that's where Maroo comes in, she cleans up after the Tenno storms through missions and as part of her service, she can return what you missed for a small fee! (credits, endo, resources, etc), that way, you won't miss out on that one thing you needed and couldn't help but leave behind.

Edit: Gameplay pickups would still be the player's job to collect, with companion vacuum still being relevant as a means to get active gameplay resources for player ammo/health/energy economy

Edit 2: I'm talking about Universal Loot (Railjack Style), rather than Universal Vacuum (Every Companion or Warframe having Vacuum) , can't edit titles in reddit, sadly. Also, manual pickups like Ayatans and Medallions would be excluded from either the Universal Loot or the Loot Recovery System

I have found the answer to a question nobody asked.

    Posted: 12 May 2020 01:17 AM PDT

At the end of Rising Tide, when you have to integrate Cy into the railjack, what happens if you press no?

Well, the quest completes, but you can't enter your railjack. You have to restart the game, then it works. And yes, Cy still integrates himself into the railjack.
