    The "Awakening" quest was really good, but I wouldn't call it "New Player Experience" to the first 5-10 minutes of gameplay.

    If there is something that I have to highlight about the new quest, there are 3 things:

    • The introduction (for real, who's that girl of the cinematic?)
    • Is has a better tutorial (is not perfect, but is good)
    • The new tileset (pls rework the Grineer Forest)

    But there are also things that I didn't like at all:

    • It lasts between 5 and 10 minutes.
    • DE calls it "New Player Experience".

    To be honest, I was expecting something like:

    • Vor's Prize 2.0
    • The chance of meet the rest of the characters in the Strata Relay with new quotes and interactions.
    • New Junction's tasks and better rewards.
    • New tutorials explained by Ordis (Orbiter segments, gear items, exploring the Star Chart, etc.) and Teshin (Melee 3.0, Stealth, he as the new master of the Mastery Rank Tests, etc.)
    • Some references to the old events and tactical alerts.

    But DE has just given us a new quest/tutorial that, upon completion, we continue as usual with "Vor's Prize" without any changes. I just hope the "Awakening" quest is just the beginning of the true "New Player Experience" and is not forgotten.

    I don't think DE has done anything similiar with previous open worlds, but Isolation Vaults in Deimos REALLY need WAY more variation and less waiting

    If DE come out with the 2nd and 3rd Necramech and we're still repeating the same exact mission another 100 times, im going to be baffled. I've remembered every single voice line at this point and I think im going a little crazy.

    I don't know why DE designed this bounty to be so grindy without any sign of variation besides the vaults themselves. It gets really mind-numbing. When I talk about variation, I mean voice lines, different types of bounty stages, etc

    Universal Vacuum - A compromise everybody can agree on

    Universal vacuum is an age old topic. Necramechs highlight the issue for the vast majority of players jet again. However, there's a small group of individuals who oppose vacuum. It's a minority, but a minority DE likes catering to as we've seen with Titania's augment.

    Why is this minority against universal vacuum? Well, if you have 99/100 energy and pick up an orb 24 of that 25 of that energy will be wasted.

    So here's a solution as simple as it gets:

    Enable universal vacuum for everybody. Add a slider in the options menu

    • "Don't pick up energy orbs if ... energy would be burned."
    • "..." is a number each player can enter in this option menu. E.g. 25

    Problem solved.
