Posted: 04 Apr 2021 08:13 PM PDT Fuck. How can a free game be so fucking good. For fucks sake, this is just unacceptable. I've been hooked at it for a week, and been having a gigantic blast for these past few days. I've never been so engaged to a game like this. Today, I've thought "I should buy some plats, this game is so good" and I get a 75% discount out of nowhere. They even know what I'm thinking. Fuck. This is amazing. Thank you, devs, for such a good game. You guys know how to get money from people, and you really deserve it. Fuck. EDIT: I have to give tons of praise to optimization as well. My computer is not that good, but the game runs smoothly on it. It's honestly amazing, and I really appreciate that. [link] [comments]

I've just finished my First and Last Kuria ""Speed""run Ever (+31hs) Posted: 04 Apr 2021 07:20 PM PDT This is what happens when you ran out of stuff to farm in Warframe. I started Saturday 3rd, 14:20 GMT-4 (hehe) and ended Sunday 4th, 21:48. It took 31hs 28mins (including the 4'ish hours of sleep and bathroom breaks). I still can see the game inside my head. Please DO NOT attempt to Speedrun Kurias if you want to keep your sanity, I did it because I wasn't sane to start with. I don't think there is a Kuria record, but in any case is not one worth breaking. But if you are a madman crazy enough, a chad speedrunner of the olympics or an absolute Tenno Veteran with no more neurons left to lose, here is a list of things you need to know:
Honestly... I liked this. I got to see the game from another angle, there is a lot of attention to detail in these maps, and the procedural generation of each room is incredible when you realize how they connect to each other. I also found 2 Rare Grineer Containers and 1 Rare Corpus one, got invaded by Stalker 2 times (still no Smoking Body Ephemera) and the Grustrag Three once and even the Kiddo showed up to laugh at me. Earth and Mars were easy peasy lemon squeezy. Jupiter was kinda nice and you also have the Secret Rooms there. I hate Uranus as I always did, and Sharkwing with its underwater corridors with rare rooms at the end. But Ceres, which is one of the earlier planets, and one of the most forgettable places in the whole system, was difficult difficult lemon difficult, and thus it has become one of the most memorable places in my Warframe history. You think these places are common and you've seen them a thousand times but when you actually look for them they suddenly don't exist anymore. Ceres 12-3 was hard, but there are a couple of others (like the Sunk Ship in Uranus, or the open spaces in Mars) which require a lot of runs to spawn and sometimes are away from the main course of the map. So remember kids, don't do Warframe or you will end up like me, searching for little dolls hidden in cracks in the corners of procedurally generated rooms across multiple planets. I entered the heart itself of the RNG maze of Warframe and I came out alive, but others might not have such luck. Thanks for reading Tenno! Have a nice day. Im going to sleep now. Loadouts.... why is everything not together? Posted: 04 Apr 2021 04:19 PM PDT So I've been experimenting with loadouts more, especially having saved ones with specialized roles like hunting Eidolons or taking on PT. The more I look into this though, the more off, weird, and inconsistent in how it works it looks. So you go to you arsenal. You click the button for loadout and it changes your warframe, weapons and companion. You also get more as you rank up in mastery or just buy more slots if you really need to. It's a nice feature to have. The problem is that a loadout isn't just these things. Now we get into the vehicles section. Which for some reason has its own loadout section completely separate from the previous one. Even if you change the main loadout, this loadout doesn't, you have to change this one also. Mildly annoying, but workable. But in this section we have the heavy weapon slot.... which changes with the main loadout, not the vehicle one despite being in this section. Weird, but fine. What really annoys me are these last 2 predicaments. For starters: the Necramech. If you change either loadouts, this spot does not change. I like using Voidrig for general purpose and eidolons, and BoneWidow for PT and Orphix when that was around. Every time I want to change between these activities, I have to remember to switch these loadouts manually because for some reason they don't change with any of the other loadouts. Lastly, did you know Operators have loadouts? In their clothing section, you can save different outfit appearances up to 3 different looks. What I learned recently is that these different spaces also hold different operator arcanes from each other: 1 set could have Overload, while another could have Melt for example. So these clothing sets change the these arcanes.... but not the amp equipped or its arcanes. I like using other amps for things not eidolon hunting, but having to go through 3 menus behind the arsenal is just too much of a hassle, and yet we have some semblance of just having a different set up within this section. So after going through all of these I have to ask: Why is this so complicated? Why can't all of this just be tied to a single universal loadout? Or even the option to tie 1 loadout page with another? I thought the whole point of loadouts was to save time on having to change equipment sets, and yet we still have to micromanage a bunch of stuff through several menus. [link] [comments]

Cambion Drift enemies and invisibility Posted: 04 Apr 2021 10:11 PM PDT I main Ivara in free roam areas, and Deimos is no exception. I usually pass on running vaults with her but occasionally I'll risk it. Her main defense is the ability to GM become invisible two different ways. Every time I'm on the Cambion Drift it seems that enemies are able to locate and shoot me even when I'm Cloaked or Prowling. It's hard not to feel cheated. What is going on here? Do they know my last visible location? Do they all just shoot a slow projectile while they can see me and it just continues to hit me after I cloak? What gives? [link] [comments]

Parazon kills should be more impactful! - Raise the trigger threshold to 50% Posted: 04 Apr 2021 08:01 AM PDT Everyone knows parazon kills almost never happen. One of main reasons is because mercy kills can only be performed when enemies have less than 5% health. This is a two-fold issue, firstly because a stiff breeze will kill enemies before a tenno gets the chance to use their parazon and secondly because mercy kills are not rewarding enough to justify consciously trying to avoid killing enemies. There are many other changes people have been asking for, but in the meantime I would like to propose a simple fix: Raise the trigger threshold from 5% health to something way higher, like 50%. This purpose of this change would be to raise the threshold to the point that if feels rewarding (more on this next) and to make mercy kills easier to perform before the enemy kisses a stray bullet. While 50% is much higher than the current 5%, it is low enough to complement rather than intrude on the gun and blade core of Warframe. Rewards: At lower levels, removing the last 50% of a large enemy's health-bar can be rewarding, but for players running endgame builds, it's going to be easier to kill the enemy the normal way. To change this dynamic, parazon mods need way more variety. The health and energy mods should be made innate to help new players feel rewarded and to free up space for more interesting mods for endgame players. Currently, parazon mods work like weaker but more consistent arcanes, granting temporary spikes in power after a mercy kill, and I think DE should expand on this. Parazon mods could help individualize builds. Here are some I think would be cool:
TL;DR make parazon kills more achievable and impactful by raising the threshold to 50% and making more rewarding parazon mods. This also buffs impact damage, lol. Thanks for reading! [link] [comments]
