    Time for a New War Moderator Recruitment (Xth edition)!

    The subreddit has continued to grow, and we expect it to get another boost once the New War is released, so we are looking to preventively expand our team!

    Applicants must be active in the Warframe community, be able to assess situations in a relatively short amount of time, and be accepting—not just tolerant—of people of all kinds. We want folks who understand and love our diverse community!

    Notes on Applications and Comment Replies

    • Upvotes and downvotes will have no effect on candidacy.
    • User replies in support of or against candidate applications will be considered after all candidates are judged equally.
      • User support is neither necessary nor integral to success.
    • All disrespectful comments made towards candidates will be ignored and standard subreddit rules will apply.
      • If any are made by a candidate, their application will be thrown out.
    The following are the steps to apply. Please follow them to the letter!

    List the following information:

    • Platform(s) that you play Warframe on.
      • Players from all platforms are welcome!
    • Devices that you use reddit on, and an approximate percentage for that device (ex. 80% on computer, 20% on phone)
    • Which Version of Reddit you primarily use (old reddit/new reddit/mobile/other)
    • Your general location in real life.
      • A time zone (ex. Pacific, GMT), country (ex. France), or state (ex. CA, Oregon) are all acceptable answers.
    • Are you active more during the day, night, or does it vary, and do you think that will change soon due to school or work?
    • How long have you been playing Warframe? "Since Update X" or "since month/year" will suffice!
      • Please do not mention specific total hours played, mastery rank, in-game achievements, or items owned.
    • How long have you been a part of the Warframe community?
      • This will not heavily affect our decision; we just want to get to know you better.
      • Please include all media which you have directly interacted and socialized with other users who play Warframe, including but not limited to reddit, official forums, Facebook, Twitter, Wiki, etc.

    Please answer the following questions:

    • 1. How often do you visit and participate on this subreddit? Are there any factors that would affect your participation?
    • 2. Is there anything on the subreddit that you would like to be involved with in particular? Contests and events? Weekly thread maintenance? Helping style the CSS? Other?
    • 3. Are there any concerns with the subreddit right now that you would tackle as a moderator? What are they, and how would you go about addressing them?
    • 4. Do you have any new suggestions for current moderation standards, new weekly threads, or other improvements? Yes or no will suffice here, we're not here to steal your ideas (unless you want to share them anyway, that's cool too)!
    • 5. Becoming a moderator will increase your interaction with the community as a whole, not just particular users, threads, topics, or media. Are you ready for the entire community to see you?
    • 6. Despite best intentions and efforts, there will always be users who will criticize your actions, make false accusations, or otherwise put you down. How have you dealt with discontent, disapproval, or disagreement in the past, and how are you prepared to handle this criticism in a position of power?
    • 7. Do you have any prior moderation experience on reddit?
    • 8. Why do you want to be a moderator?

    The form will include an optional bonus section, which will give you some example posts and comments that you might come across while moderating.

    I gave my excalibur umbra ivara's cloak arro ability via helminth

    I was doing deimos missions and was wondering if I can use the ability to stealth my necramech, then I enter the necramech and if it will be stealthed.

    What happened exceeded my wildwst expectations

    My necramech was stealthed while the ability lasted, after the duration of the ability ran out the necramech... remained stealthed.

    And stayed

    And stayed

    I tried resetting my necramech - still invisible

    The only way to remove his invisibility is to go back to the orbiter or the necralisk

    I tried this multippe times and this worked for me everytime.

    I don't know if this is specific to subsumed quiver or the same appllies to regular quiver and I don't know if the same bug happens with your teammate's necramechs.

    Can someone out there confirm they can pull this off too?

    Titania Deluxe Concept - Mantodea

    Hi Tenno,

    So DemonHunter and I have brought to life a new Deluxe Skin Concept art piece for Titania, the Mantodea skin. Complete with skins for her Dex Pixia (renamed Dex Coptopteryx) and the Dex Diwata (renamed Dex Mantidae) as well as a new design for her razorflies and how she stores them, yeesh. Titania's lore places her as the Queen of the Fairies, and many of her skins illustrates elegance and beauty. Not only does this skin concept work toward DE's "as far from the original as possible" reskinning SOP, but it worked with what I wanted to achieve for her, make her look dangerous. For this skin we built a collage of images from crabs, cone snails, wasps, ants and of course the Mantis, in addition to some other stuff too. It took a while to pose her in a alluring way and then make it seem like your doom if you got too close. Her archwing is splayed open for photogenic effect but when she flies all the ailerons will sweep behind her and stay close together. The sword is meant to display the grasping arms of the mantis, and be retracted and folded when she is not using it. Her pistol is built to take aesthetics from the dangerous cone snail with barbs instead of standard rounds. Compared to the Revenant Deluxe we made where detail was super high, this time we went more artistic with sweeping brush strokes and lighter detail work, however still zoom in, there is a lot of great detail closer up and you can see our lighting work. We also wanted her to be more organic, borderline infested, so while there is technology, it is not the main aesthetic. We put extra effort into the background this time placing her on earth floating above water while Lua passes over, so many reflections and reflected light.

    We hope you enjoy this piece and we welcome all criticism but ask if you don't like it to please explain why so we can aim to do better next time.

    "Kuva Lich Hunter Collection" Bundle sold for 835PL, Should have an Option without the Requiem Mods and the Requiem Relic Pack [SUGGESTION]

    From All Items included in the Bundle, 9 of them are things you do not only get extremely easily, you pretty much will be given them for free as soon you interact with the Kuva/Sister Lich System.

    Then the Cosmetics are 6 Chest Pieces (which are variations of the same one), 2 Shoulder Pads, 1 Leg Plates and 5 Palettes. If we make this bundle ourselves it would be 375PL for the 5 Palettes and 150PL For an Armor Set and a half. That's a total of 525PL and it doesnt even include the Discount as a Bundle.

    This Bundle should be 450PL, although Im willing to pay up to 550PL. But there is no way Im buying a Bundle like this for 835PL. In comparison there are Bundles like "Hunhow's Gift" which include:

    • War (Slot and Catalyst)
    • Pakal Set
    • Pakal Syandana
    • Pakal Kubrow Armor
    • Scimitar Sotz Skin

    The Price? 516PL.

    Also, I haven't seen anyone using the Kuva Lich Cosmetics, which makes me think this Bundle haven't sold well. This sub-bundle, or the removal of the Requiem stuff, sold for 450PL would make the money the Current Bundle hasn't made, and maybe will never make.

    You might be saying "But what about the people who already owns it?" well DE can roll back the purchases from X months ago, say now they will change the bundle and disable it (like happened with the Steel Path Bundle with the faulty Booster), or give something extra to all people who already bought the bundle. I think DE implemented all of this Solutions (and more) in Previous Changes to Market Items.
