    The prime vault stuff will come back with the cosmetics as well later, but if this proves to be profitable there is a high chance that Regal Aya might be here to stay in its current form.

    Nobody can tell me I am wrong, but 3 Regal Aya for £14 is a complete robbery.

    Not only you are not able to purchase with plat / gift to a friend / trade it around, BUT if you wanted to buy a bundle you have to buy the more expensive Regal Aya bundle. In terms of value for what you receive, you are getting scammed for the first 2 bunches and the only one that offers more for the value is the highest one that allows the purchase of the big Prime Pack with leftover Regal Aya.

    This is the same level of daylight robbery as Rockstar with The Trilogy release.

    First of all, the only useful thing that can be bought with normal aya is void relics. NOTHING ELSE. Everything else in Varzia's shop costs regal aya which brings me to my second point.

    Why can regal aya only be bought with irl money?? This is probably the most incredibly frustrating part about it, that not only can you not trade for it, buy it with platinum, or obtain it in any way, but it's also insanely expensive! To compare to platinum prices, the largest pack you can buy is 4300 plat and 3 rare mods for 199 usd and the smallest is 75 plat for 4.99 usd. The largest pack of regal aya however is 15 aya for 79.99 usd. That puts the price of regal aya at over 5 usd per piece.

    I'm no math expert, but the simple math shows that a 5 dollars a piece it is MORE THAN 75X THE PRICE OF PLATINUM.

    Absolute highway robbery. For the same price as one regal aya I could buy 6 weapon slots and two warframe slots. Plus the fact that I can buy platinum from other players using items I didn't pay any real money for, making the game actually playable for players that don't have the money to spend on games (like me).

    Regal aya on the other hand can only be bought for a sh*tload of real money, and the things that you would spend it on are unavailable by any other means. DE is once again trying to flat out rob their community by influencing them to spend a lot of money on a part of the game that should be free in some way or another.

    If anyone from DE happens across this post, here's a few tips. 1. Make regal aya obtainable in the same ways as plat. E.G. trading, less expensive prices, etc. 2. Make it a rare resource that can be earned. 3. Make cosmetics available for normal aya for f*cks sake, they're not essential to the game therefore shouldn't cost such an excess of real money.

    TL;DR: DE needs to fix the prime resurgence by making it actually enjoyable to all players.

    TLDR: Prime Resurgence... yes, it's a "don't buy Regal Aya" post.

    I know a lot of you are excited about Prime Resurgence and so am I. It's objectively a great improvement from the current vaulting system which is slow, random, and generally cumbersome.

    But we also know that Regal Aya is quite possibly the most blatant scummy practice that DE is pushing for. It's no secret why they're doing this; they're probing for player tolerance. We're all gamers here and we've been through this before with Battlefield 5, Fallout 76, etc. They put out a scam and see how many bite and if they can't keep it up, they just shrug and go "we made a mistake" or "we care about you community and we hear you loud and clear – we'll stop blatantly scamming you and try to somewhat scam you instead to see if it works this time".

    We've been through all this lootbox, microtransaction nonsense and even for a F2P game like Warframe, there's a line to be drawn and DE is crossing it here. DE says this is simply a "test-run", why? Because they're testing how much they can get away with.

    Everyone knows that the feedback to the Regal Aya pricing was/is overwhelmingly negative and yet, instead of listening and making changes, DE says "sorry, have some Endo, we're implementing it anyway". What does this tell you? It tells you that they have already projected a new business model and this is a pilot run. At this point, mere forum posts and players' sentiments are none of their concern. Only one thing will speak to them and it's money.

    Keep you wallets closed. Don't let this be a "permanent addition" to the game, because if it does, I guarantee it only gets worse. Who's to say that if they succeed, they don't do the same thing with orokin catalysts/reactors? With Ephemeras? With Syandanas? Who's to say we won't find a 3rd premium currency added a year from now?

    Support the goodwill that is the regular Aya and weekly rotation system, but don't spend a dollar on a shoehorned intermediary currency made to confuse the math and hide the scummy nature of it all. Let's be united on this Tenno, and may the Void be with you.

    A bad deal is not a scam

    First and foremost, I agree, the Regal Aya bundles as they are now are a worse deal than Prime Vault bundles have been in the past.

    They are specifically a bad deal because of the lost Platinum value that Prime Vault bundles had that Regal Aya does not.

    This is a valid and correct criticism and it SHOULD be made clear to DE why these bundles are a worse deal than the old Prime Vaults.

    With that said, when you critique these bundles, you really, REALLY, need to stop using words like scam and scummy and greedy.

    The hyperbole around Regal Aya is completely drowning out the actual valid points. Not to mention people are dismissing the ENTIRE event as a scam when the F2P portion (regular Aya) is a massive improvement over the old Unvaulting system.

    I'm not here to be a corporate DEfender, I think they tried something new and I can see the value in the Regal Aya system provided they make up for the lost Plat. Either by adding it back in when they try this again, or by reducing prices or increasing the amount of Regal Aya.

    But these points can be made WITHOUT putting on the tinfoil hats and claiming this is some scummy cashgrab.

If you want to do it quick, do Ukko or void missions but if you want long missions with rewards included, do Open-World bounties.

    Important note: you CANNOT farm Aya on Railjack missions but you CAN use your relics there.

    How to farm Aya! In other words, Void missions are a trap!

    • Ghoul Bounty) Stage 1 = 26.4% drop. If you choose to grind this complete the 1st stage then restart the mission(Be courteous & do in solos or preformed squads).
    • Cetus R5 Bounty) Stage 2&3 = 33% drop, Stage 4 = 25.6% drop, & Stage 5 = 38.78% drop(Stage 5 Twice with all Bonus Objectives complete).
    • Orb Vallis R5 Bounty) Stage 2&3 = 25% drop, Stage 4 = 21.4% drop, & Stage 5 = 50% drop(Stage 5 Twice with all Bonus Objectives complete).
    • Cambion Drift R5 Bounty) Stage 2&3 = 28.5% drop, Stage 4 = 22.2% drop, & Stage 5 = 43.4% drop(Stage 5 Twice with all Bonus Objectives complete).

    Parting Tip: It is generally hard to fail the Orb Vallis & Cambion Drift Bonus Objectives, though the "get twice the amount of kills as the Grineer squad" bonus objective on Cambion drift can cause some people trouble, Cetus Bonus objectives can be real BS and screw you over just because they feel like. Also, consider doing Bounties solo or in a group of two at most as the way Bounties are designed is "Anti Co-op" in terms of farming efficiency, generally giving you more objectives per stage that makes them take longer which cannot be overcome because of how they are designed. I wish they'd change this. If you wanna farm with friends, even if a little less efficient, do it anyway, you'll have more fun.

    Tiny Tip: Your Warframe can capture containers by itself in Orb Vallis Container capture Bounty Stage mission which is helpful in solo. May not make sense unless you really think about it or "know".

    Edited Tip: Orb Vallis Spy mission can be hard to get the Bonus on, may want to use a frame that can turn invisible, Spoiler Mode, & Untraceable Mod(if quick enough); this mission can also bug out and means you need to go back to Fortuna after each Bounty to prevent it from bugging out.

    Edit2: You can rarely get Aya from Relic Packs so if you got spare Syndicate Standing sitting around you can use it on Relic Packs for a small chance at Aya. I spent about 120k and got 2 Aya, another commentor spent 120k and got 2, another commentor spent 100K and got 1, and apparently someone spent 60k and got 3. So as usual it is RNG and you can get a little, a lot, or none.

    1. Eco System is Contained to the Company's offerings. Player Influence (such as Coupon agency, Player Trade, Popularity, Scarcity, Meta power, Or 'equal value' ) is Removed for better level field of presentation.
    2. The following math assumes the following: PC Environment, Tax Free, USA Steam offerings.
    3. "Nobody buys undiscounted plat" is not a formal vantage point to be made here, not everyone has access to coupons on demand, I haven't seen a 75% off in 2 years. This also goes against point 1 to a degree as some items can be completely circumvented via player market getting the same item for far cheaper than straight from source. This also has to consider the environments at which other platforms, regions, pricing and laws exist all of which can and will affect the player agency even further. A short example PS4 cannot upgrade its prime access offerings so they broke it in half you buy one or the other or both and examples like those greatly alter player agency to control their prices. By keeping it undiscounted as possible we can get a flat value to which is closer to the price claims DE does offer supposedly in savings for many of its bought packages.
    4. This is hopefully can be used a resource for formulating feedback.
