I used to think build times were ridiculous

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 09:14 PM PST

... And then I started 3D printing. 14 hours for a lump of plastic in the shape of a Pokemon. And the fabricator in the orbiter can build a semi-sentient ironman suit in 3 days? That's pretty impressive.

(Not like I'm defending the build times from a game design standpoint, just thought it was funny)

Shoutout to the Amalgam Alkonost for being the most terrifying creature in this game to date. that thing is a modified Corpus Crewman (seriously it still has the helmet and gloves on) who buffs their fellow crewmen by injecting them with stims so potent it literally melts the skin off their faces.

    Stalker, You Okay Buddy?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 11:06 PM PST

    Dear Stalker,
My friend needs to scan you. I haven't done a certain quest, so you haven't attached "Shadow" to your name yet, you edgelord.
I have a total of six(6) hate mails in my inbox, saying you're going to come find me. That my actions have consequences. I have been doing the same capture mission for the past 4 hours, 5 minutes each run.
Listen, if you can't find my house, I live on 426 Konzu Park Way, Cetus, Earth. 44265.

    Please find me.

Are corpus crewmen slaves? If so how come there are corpus like veso and that one samples guy on deimos have some once of personality?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 03:43 PM PST

Basically on the wiki it states that most of the corpus crewmen are born with there entire personality's wiped when they are born with the helmets they wear. But then you have people like veso and the samples guy who looks like they still have their personality intake. Why is this?

Edit: nvm I read it wrong. I thought the helmets took away their "personality and individuality" but it just masks it away. They still get brainwashed tho

To Infinity and…? Still have no idea how this happened.

I look at this visual bug on the star chart and now desperately want it to be a feature. How cool would it be to be able to put a kind of face war paint on your frames?

What are your "I don't care how many Forma it takes" items in the game?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 05:55 AM PST

I love the Akbronco Prime sidearm, but it's not very good past middle game... unless you dump 7 Forma into it, then it's pretty great.

What are the weapons and frames that you love and will make viable no matter how many Forma or potatoes it takes?

Edit: this ended up being a great discussion and I read so many comments that made me smile.

Thanks for being a cool community!

Edit 2, in case anyone is as curious as I am:

    The most popular answers seem to be;

Frames: Sevagoth, Valkyr, Rhino Prime and Baruuk

Weapons: the mk1 weapons (especially the Braton), the Acceltra, and the Grakata

Generally: Primes, anything you've got a good riven for, and items that fit a theme for a warframe you love.

Something I've learned as a noob

    Posted: 03 Jan 2022 01:20 AM PST

Don't know how to word this, but I'll give it a try. I am a noob, and when I first started warframe (2 weeks ago) I was trying to progress as fast as possible. The problem was I was going too fast, at least for me. Some people might be able to move at light speed through warframe, but that's just not me. Consequently I made some beginner mistakes along the lines like wasting platinum on some things I didn't need and grinding inefficiently. I've learned that I should progress at my own pace, even if that pace is quite a bit slower than others. Although my own pace may not be efficient for others, it is the most efficient for me.
