    Enemy spawns need to be the #1 priority for DE in 2022

    Yes, Host Migration is really bad. Yes, cross play and cross save would be a huge game changer. But, dude, this is a HORDE SHOOTER. There are no words to describe how MASSIVE of a problem it is when enemies don't spawn in your game about killing enemies.

    Railjack missions softlock halfway through. Capture, Defense, and Survival Void Fissures have about a 20% chance of refusing to give you enough enemies to gather reactant and open your relic. Arbitration Survival is literally impossible in some tilesets. Defense Missions, as a whole, are agonizing. Excavation missions can have you going upwards of 5 minutes without finding a single power carrier. Extermination missions will occasionally drip feed you enemies, while also forcing you to backtrack through the entire tileset to kill one straggler, while also increasing the number of kills you need as time goes on. It feels like paying off student debt, not playing an action MMO.

    They can work on Host Migration and Cross Play later, but the game needs to be playable first.

    There are a lot a lot of things I don't understand about the New War but this one is the one that bothers me currently. The moment is presented as him wanting revenge on Natah using us a proxy, but that makes less sense with his coup in the New War. Did he just have a change of plans between giving us the sword and conspiring with Erra? Considering he intended to rule over an army of Sentients and was now part sentient himself, I can't see how this would end well for him if his betrayal was premeditated. Additionally, what did Ballas provide Erra in their partnership? Knowledge of the warframes? Orokin tech secrets? 3 wishes? Erra clearly sees him as a superior but there's never really a reason given.

    Protovyre Armor fix for parts progression

    Hello Tenno!

    Today I have information for you related to the Protovyre Evolving Armor set! There are two sections to go over: The story so far, and upcoming changes.

    The Protovyre armor set was released along with Caliban for The New War (Update 31) and consists of three separate parts: a chest piece, arms, and legs. We offered these in bundles that offered all three parts together, or as separate purchases for players that only wanted one specific piece of the armor. As you kill Sentient type enemies while wearing the armor, you earn progress toward earning the Protovyre's evolved Emergent and Apex forms. The new parts that you earn would be delivered to your Inbox.

    It turns out that there was a problem with this new system however. Players who had only purchased one of the Protovyre parts were getting the entire evolved set when they completed its ranking up challenge.

    So with our next update we will be correcting in the following ways:

    1. Players who have evolved Protovyre parts in their account but did not purchase the base version of the part, will have the evolved versions removed
    2. Challenge progress related to unlocking the evolving armor will not be affected.
    3. Buying an armor part that you've already completed the Challenge for will give you the evolved parts you've earned immediately.

    In simple terms, no one's progress is being taken away, just the items that were accidentally distributed. Should you choose to reinvest in a piece of Protovyre armor, you'll keep all the progress you made!

    Public Test Cluster: Opt-In Key Lottery #4

    Greetings Tenno!

    After a long absence due to top-secret New War developments, we're trying our hand at another Semi-Public Test Cluster weekend. Last year's updates didn't lend themselves well to public tests, so we are trying to shake off our cobwebs early with a smaller, simpler Mainline test. Please read the thread in full before replying!

    1. We will be using Steam Keys to access "Warframe Test" - make sure you have a Steam account!
    2. We will be running all surveys and posts in English - you must understand English to participate.
    3. Despite our best efforts, console accounts cannot be copied to our PC test server, so only PC Warframe accounts will be chosen to participate - sorry!
    4. We will be asking for targeted feedback specific to two parts of this Mainline update: general stability, and a 'The New War' Quest related item. Only players who have completed 'The New War' will be selected. All players will be given details prior to launch, not just test key holders. This thread will be edited to indicate the subject of testing once it is revealed on Friday's Devstream.
    5. Posting here does not guarantee entry - it will be randomized. We are using the forums because we want to ensure potential participants know how to use our forums and have a base understanding covered in this post.
    6. If this all sounds good to you - simply reply in this Warframe forum thread with "All as one" to be entered. As this is a smaller update than last time, we will be sending out about 500 new Steam Keys for this weekend.

    We will be picking accounts randomly from this reply set. Accounts picked that have numerous warnings, reports, or restrictions against them will be removed from the lottery and have their Key given to another random pick.

    Furthermore, due to firewall limitations, we must continue to enforce our past ruling regarding previous testers: If you login to Test during a Public Test weekend, you will still have access next time a Test takes place. If you do NOT login during a Public Test weekend, your Warframe Test access will be revoked, to make room for new players in the future.

    All those eligible to participate in weekend testing will receive an inbox message in Warframe later this week. Those removed will no longer have Warframe Test in their Steam libraries. We retain the right to offer permanent spots to proven contributors or other trusted players.

    If your schedule prevents you from logging in this weekend, we apologize, but this strict rotation is the best way to ensure we always have room for more active players during each test. You are welcome to enter in future lottery threads to regain your access!

    THIS WARFRAME FORUM THREAD WILL LOCK IN 24 HOURS, AT 15:00 ET ON JANUARY 27TH. STEAM KEYS AND NOTICES OF ACCEPTANCE WILL BE SENT VIA IN-GAME INBOX ON FRIDAY JANUARY 29TH.
