Devstream 160 showed us a sneak peek of what's to come with our next major update: Angels of the Zariman! Included alongside reveals like the Zariman tileset, Evolving Weapons, new Void Flood game mode and much more, we have some big mechanic reworks in store for you! Let's break it down and sum up what was shown! FOCUS SYSTEM REWORK We are going all in on Focus changes for Warframe. Beyond Gameplay: EXIMUS REWORK The main objective of this Eximus Rework is to enhance their visibility in battle, both in how they function and their formidableness. We achieve this in 2 ways:

Posted: 11 Mar 2022 04:42 PM PST I honestly can't remember the last time consoles had to wait the extra month to receive the goodies that PC got. Aside from the hotfixes, it is so nice that all platforms get to experience the same content at the same time, and definitely takes away a huge chunk of the barrier in the way of cross play/save. Yeah the builds might be a bit buggy, but they are still pretty good with squashing game breaking bugs quickly. I just wanted to commend DE on their hard work. GG [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 11 Mar 2022 06:48 AM PST I think you should be able to challenge Umbra to games of Komi since if I recall correctly when you play Komi in the sacrifice quest you battle against an AI it also makes it that Komi isn't a wasted idea, and it's lord friendly as well since Umbra kept his sentience and Isaiah and Both say Umbra is good at Komi. The problem with void dash changes (no bashing) Posted: 11 Mar 2022 02:18 PM PST What I (and many others) used void dash for was to traverse open tiles quickly, since void dash was faster than just parkour. The new animation is cool and all but the thing that moves forward which is meant to be an "indicator" as to where you're going is the problem. The fact that you can't just spam void dash anymore makes it less useful. You can still go far distance with this new void dash as it sort of maintains momentum but the old void dash was super super super agile, you always knew where you were gonna end up. You don't need an indicator when you can see the map. You can imagine a line going through your operator the same distance as a void dash. The point that you get stuck on objects is simply a skill issue (except the skill ceiling on void dashing isn't even high), if you find yourself getting stuck a lot then just aim slightly into the air and you won't get stuck. The suggestion I have as to how to balance this void dash is have a transparent line (toggleable in the settings but default to on) that shows you the trajectory of the dash. The new animation is cool, but the "hold to go further" isn't. I've been in the warframe community for 3 years now so I know most the feedback you're getting on Reddit is going to be very angry (unless things have changed in the year I've been gone from this subreddit) so I hope it was helpful to have feedback that is written in a polite way and includes a suggestion for something that would be better. I think if void dash was changed so drastically it would make warframe feel too different for people like me who use void dash a lot. [link] [comments] |
