    Currently on the orb vallis because of the fractures I have realised the amount of things that are for some reason, without any lore explanation completely immune to limbo's rift/stasis or can even fire into it:

    • the hyenas

    • the jackals

    • all the damn raknoids (can all fire into the rift)

    Could DE please stop making things immune/able to break the rules set for the players, or at the very least give us a decent lore explenationas to why they are capable of such things?

    Unpopular Opinion: DE is making a lot of content a real chore with 0 repeatability and fun factor

    Don't get me wrong, I love Warframe, the combat and the gameplay is amazing and I still believe it's the best looter shooter out there. However, the recent releases of contents from DE seems more like a chore and people are relieved once they finish it and get the rewards. Most of these contents feel like a drag due to design, but in most cases due to poor rewards/incentives.

    Some examples would be:

    1. Nidus/Harrow/Khora farms are some of the prime examples. It's very difficult to get pugs for Infested Salvage because it just feels like an annoying version of survival, but most importantly, it has 0 incentives outside getting nidus parts. This mission is neither fun nor rewarding and feels like a checklist chore to obtain Nidus. It's the same for SO and Defection missions. These missions could be easily revamped by addressing their rewards, and preferably the mechanics. For example, removing the armor integrity deterioration or making it auto regenerate while inside blue globe will greatly increase Salvage's fun factor (also serum should be auto injected when picking up). Similar adjustments, be it minor or major, could also be applied to the other modes that I mentioned.

    2. Recent Buried Depth mobile defense farm feels like an ordeal and I can't blame if players resort to leeching. I personally would've appreciated a new quest or something similar.

    3. Open world faction standing farming is nothing but a daily chore and the whole idea that all standings are consumed when ranking up and that standing have daily earn limit, feels nothing like a cheap method of pace gating. It's neither fun nor rewarding. And Quills is a paradox in itself as the standing can only be farmed at a decent level with great amps and hunting tridolon, however to do so, one must first need the said amps, which requires Quills rank to be almost maxed.

    4. Nightwave elite challenges, such as the 60 mins one, contradicts DE's own philosophy of not rewarding prolonged endurance runs. So this is pretty much self-explanatory.

    I really hope that DE would take a moment, stop new content release, and polish up their existing contents and rectify the issues.

    Melee 2.99997 Issues that need fixing - A Comprehensive List

    Overall, Phase 1 of Melee 3.0 is going great! However, there are still a large number of issues that come with the territory. Just figured I'd compile them all into a easy-to-find list for DE when they going into rapid hot-fixing mode in the coming weeks.

    • Aim-gliding with Exalted melee weapons drops carried items like datamass.
    • Hildryn cannot melee channel due to having no energy
    • Guardian Derision cannot be manually activated due to the aim-blocking changes.
    • Many players prefer the melee aim-glide due to the wider FOV and no aim-down-sights camera. Maybe add this as an option in the menu?
    • When shooting in Hysteria, Valkyr is no longer invulnerable. This isn't really a major issue since some players use this to regain energy with Rage/Hunter Adrenaline, but it's something to keep an eye on.
    • Hysterical Assault augment mod for Valkyr no longer works due to the new Melee Channeling keybinding
    • Fatal Teleport Augment for Ash no longer forces finishers if Primary or Secondary are equipped
    • The new melee FX cause epileptic flashing when rapidly hitting crowds with long-range weapons.
    • Nezha in particular has a weirdly broken timing on his melee combos, making pause combos extremely difficult as shown [here].
    • Some melee weapon classes' Quick Melees were faster/more useful than Stance combos, such as Polearms and Sparring weapons. Maybe re-implement them back into the game in some way?
    • Polearms have a funky hitbox where enemies directly in front of you aren't hit, but enemies slightly to the side are - as shown [here].
    • The Mios lost its 2 unique Charge Attacks that differed depending if you were in Quick Melee mode or Stance mode. This will probably be a permanent causualty in Melee 3.0 but I figured I'd point it out.
    • Can't tell whether you'll change to Primary or Secondary when you LMB in melee mode. Especially important when you're using self-damaging explosives.
    • Melee mode stops you from immediately using alt-fire on your guns.
    • Auto-reload does not work when melee-ing immediately after emptying your magazine
    • For Gunblades - auto-parry interrupts your charged fire
    • Using Melee with Archgun equipped stops you from meleeing again until you put away your Archgun
    • Auto-blocking sometimes interrupts combos
    • Chroma can melee with their 1 active, but only if activated with Primary or Secondary equipped
    • There is a delay between bullet jumps when Melee is equipped due to melee Block-Glide being removed, making Parkour extremely clunky
    • When holding an object (datamass) with Primary/Melee, aimgliding will force you to drop it.
    • Hold-RMB melee combos forces players back into Primary/Secondary mode, regardless of whether or not RMB is held or released at the end of combo.
    • Ground/Normal finishers activate unreliably when meleeing in Primary/Secondary mode.
    • Frame Fighter mode has apparently turned into a buggy mess.
    • Patch Notes say that Exodia Contagion will now only trigger if aim-gliding + meleeing, but now aim-gliding forces you out of melee-mode and into a smaller FOV, making things needlessly clunky.
    • If carrying Electric Shield, Volt will drop it if he aim glides with Melee.
    • Syndicate Radial Effects occasionally don't work nor collect Affinity after switching between Melee and Guns.
    • Glaives can no longer manually be detonated while dual-wielding due to the new channel keybinds.

    Feel free to point out any additional issues, and I'll add them to the list.

    So from a player who is at medium tier of progress. Cleared the starchart now just working of builds and starting POE/Fortuna.

    This is what I eanted to see. Little objectives that encourage players to go do useful activities across the game. All the objectives have beneficial activities.

    Mining, fishing, grinding rep, finishers, Lua challenge mods and so on.

    The only one that stands out to me this week is 5 Sorties. Personally I feel 3 would be a better mark.

    At 5 I feel pressured because I know I rarely get to play that many days and combine that with some.of thr awful combinations of sortie missions and well its a hassle. By combinations I mean having both Defence and Survival in the same set. Or Stupid Vay Hek assassination.

    Again its not hard but tedious and often Id just skip it for a more fun activity. Now I feel forces to do them.


    What are other peoples thoughts on this rotation of objectives.

    Melee 2.999 Broke Ash's Fatal Teleport augment

    Fatal Teleport doesn't perform a finisher unless you have your melee at hand, if you have a primary or secondary in hand, it will only perform a teleport without the finisher. Before the update, it performed the finisher in any and all cases, regardless of your currently in-hand weapon. Now I can't seamlessly omae wa mou shindeiru my enemies.

    When Melee 2.9 Arrived, Frame Fighters Broke

    I was playing some Frame Fighters after a long day of grinding Operation Rinse and Repeat. When we noticed that all the frames auto blocked. Any attack (Including specials) was automatically blocked, regardless of the player holding the block button. Several of the special attacks (Garuda and Mesa for certain) are completely broken to the point of not even activating.

    I know this isn't the most played game mode, But i'm sure there is at least a small niche that's still interested.

    TL;DR Frame Fighter Machine Broke, Auto Block FTW
