    I'm an old player coming back after years of hiatus (I left shortly after solar rails were implemented.) And I just got to Fortuna and holy hell the opening sequence made me feel really weirdly good. Like, this game has come so far it's crazy and I love it.

    Farewell Warframe

    As a player with 5500+ hours, which just recently uninstalled the game and spent some dollars in it, I have quite mixed up feeling about it.

    While in general the game is pretty cool if you're into grindy games, and how micro transactions will not really affecting on how you could win the game, because there is NO win in this game, after spending some time you will eventually understand the game, gain enough gears and mods, and you will learn how to cheese every single mission and cheese everything (I am up to the level of playing solo in any kind of mission, including Trio Eidolon hunting for reference). Community is pretty well controlled for a free gaming experience, altho I would say its a bit "over" controlled at some points. You can't really cheat this game, except exploiting bugs which is EXTREMELY common in Warframe, to the point of at most of the time you aren't beating the game but beating the bugs (heh)

    I share my ups and down of my life with warframe. I made some friends, befriend them, even I connect with some of them in my real life. Warframe was an important part of my daily life and at some point it helped me getting through my darkest days of my life. I am truthfully thankful. All of them because of I found a good and helpful community (in general)

    But as sad as it is, I decided to break apart from Warframe and today I decided to uninstall Warframe for good. I found that in the last few years, the game developing away from what I've enjoyed for the last 5 years since I opened my account. I feel like the old community that drives me with competition and grinds slowly disappeared. The game on itself strayed away from the kind of game that made people full filled in getting something. I don't know how to express it but I don't think new players will know how it feels now so it doesn't matter.

    Lastly, I thank you to the Devs for this amazing game, community and all the support. It was a great run for me as a player, as a person.

    Holster speed should affect the archgun deployer's animation.

    I speedrun the Profit-Taker fight, and while doing so I have often been asked by squadmates whether the Archgun animation is affected by holster speed, and I've always had to tell them: It doesn't, but it should.

    The animation takes 4 seconds, which is obviously because it is designed as a HEAVY weapon.
    The first few times you'll use the weapon, the animation conveys this heaviness. After deploying the Archgun several times, the animation loses its novelty, and the delay becomes an annoyance.
    You'll find that in normal missions, your squadmates are three rooms ahead of you because you had to wait for the animation.
    You'll find that you die while casting the Archgun in the Profit-Taker fight.
    You'll find that the entire animation resets if you get staggered while casting it.

    You then think to yourself, AHA, this is Warframe! I can work around this by modding for Holster Speed!
    Nope: for the Archgun animation, holster speed is a wasted mod slot.

    It would make sense to allow holster speed to affect the animation.
    This would also be a much-needed quality of life improvement.

    DE, please allow holster speed to affect the Archgun deployment animation.

    Small list of restrictions and inconsistencies that really rustle my feathers and seemingly easy to fix.

    (In case some devs actually see this: please excuse my raunch, i try to be more tongue and cheek in my slow descent into madness, but plz fix some of those, it wouldn't cure my depression, but it helps with blood pressure, thx)

    1) Combo Counter mods not working with exalted melee, outside of drifting contant, which virtually best combo counter mod in the game.

    2) Blood Rush, Weeping Wounds, and Gladiator set not working with exalted melee. Because having synergy and build diversity is bad...?

    3) Exalted Blade and Desert Wind horrific anti-synergy with Combo Counter. Its not even like you can't build up combo with those, its just really, really inconvinient, and again have little purpose due to most powerful mods not working with it anyway. Why not make it at the very least more enganging? Why not at least give people a choice, if they wanna focus on combo counter at all in their builds? Why not make exalted weapons at least marginally better then nikana prime with a dumb riven?

    4) Dispatch Overdrive not working with Exalted Melee. Just... Why...?

    5) Exalted Weapon Stances not giving extra capacity. Because exalted blade of a frame named after legendary sword should certanly be worse then kronsh zaw made with fish oil and ducktape.

    6) Sigma and Octanis and Cobra and Crane titular shield throw dealing virtually no damage. You know, as much as i appretiate a forced knockdown on a single target, there is an AoE knockdown smal attack on the same input. And because of auto-aim, i can't even target nulifier drones with it... not that it would have enough damage to kill them, but DE plz...

    7) Sacrifical Mods being better on literally any other exalted melee then Exalted Blade. Valkyr Talons and Baruuk's Desert Wind? 50% crit chance base. Wukong's Iron Staff? 25% Base and augment to get it above 100% for light attacks. Meanwhile, my umbral posterboi, who came with those mods in the first place, don't even get to 100% crit on heavy attacks.

    8) Exalted Blade not having anything on heavy attack. Seriously? Light attacks send waves, slide attack makes micro radial blind, and heavy attack being... a slash. Not even a wave, just slash. That doesn't even force-proc actual slash, because its a sword and they got lifted instead. I mean, at least it scales with combo co~ OOOOHHHHHH... We back in the land of anti-synergies again. Desert Wind doesn't have anything special on heavy attack too... Except it deals 1500% instead of 500%, and is always super red rit because its on a heavy crit weapon, and procs heavy slam for actual synergies, and... You know, forget it, Baruuk is alright.

    9) Speaking of heavy attacks: Valkyr Talons not having claw-type heavy attack. Its an exalted claw. CLAW. And for some reason, she got the same heavy slam as Baruuk, despite baruuk having sparring weapon, and her having, you know, BLOODY CLAWS? That, as a weapon type, actually have one of the best type of heavy attacks in the game, with forced slash and good animation, just not when its exalted? Oh, and according to wiki she also deals twice less damage compared to baruuk while having twice less critical chance, because there isn't enough material of valkyr getting fucked, i guess...?

    10) Disruption demo-units having those blasted nulifier bubbles. The best designed game-mode in the game, the ideal place to put all this crazy firepower veterans accumulated for years to the test, a DPS race with a purpose, and desireable rewards. A gamemode, where exalted melee's... have no place! Those nulifying farts demo units make right into a player's face as they approach them for high-risk-high-reward moves, is like a spoonful of old piss poured straight in my cup of tea. This is the worst. It brings down everything good about disruptions, it once again makes weeb sticks superior option to every exalted melee, just through the sheer number of DPS loss due to shealth-unshealth animation locks, it cuts off all the fun options people could have taken, and replaces them with either Mesa, or one of those horrible monstrosities (this isn't mine btw). I assume this is because galactic law forbids DE from making a game-mode where frames with DPS abilities could utilize those DPS abilties, and only Chroma or Mesa should ever be considered for that specific role, and if that ever changes actual sentients invade our actual solar system and blow up Earth. At least thats my theory.

    11) Exilus slots being incompatible with 80% of quality of life gun mods. A rare reward from highest tier fissures, locked behind dozen of main quests, that has to be build using valuable forma and sentient nuts, allows player to finally have a slot to use which weapon must already have around 5-6 polarities on it, where most valuable mod on average is holster speed, that is a band-aid mod, that solves a generally very important problem that warframe had five years ago and was fixed by devs already with melee rework. Reload speed for clunky shit like kuva chakurr? Nope! Punch Through mods for better anti-horde hallway hero spec? Nope! Mag capacity for super-niche cases? Nope again! Well, at least ammo hungry weapons finally have a slot for ammo mutations and... VIGILANTE SUPPLIES?! That mod from the same set as semi-must-have vigilante armaments, with a set bonus that actively increase DPS of critical-based weapons AKA best type of weapons? No, thats fine, having utility slot that is that doesn't allow untility but instead boost DPS of already overall best type of weapons is fine, its totally fine, i don't like having too much options anyway.

    12) Depleted reload not being exilus slot, despite only existing to make Vectis out of Vectis Prime, and actively reducing DPS of said Vectis Prime. At least its consistent with other reload mods not being exilus, but as this mod stands, it may aswell be re-made into vectis prime exilus augment.

    13) Self-damage inconsistency with weapons like Astilla vs Zhuge Prime, or Lenz vs Chakurr. And thats all the the beating this dead horse getting from me today.

    14) Parazon finishers not scaling with attack speed. They used to do so when Old Blood just dropped, and with primed fury those things were the best. I've never felt like this unstoppable killing machine in warframe before, and its warframe! That says something! But then devs decided they should not scale with AS and i need to watch my frame stop jumping at 90 miles per hour and jump over someone's head in slow motion, and all it does now is breaks the flow. Until the game glitches and through spaghetti code they start scale again, because making feature worse is not enough, and this game needs to actively taunt me with possibility i can't have.

    And lastly, the smallest detail:

    15)Exalted Blade not having an option to turn off physical form, despite being mentioned it as a "sword of pure light" in ability description, and showing it as such in warframe trailers, for what they worth after whole railjack thing...

    It seem like no matter what path DE takes the community will be upset. Like it seems Warframe has many unique groups of players with varying interests about the game. And it seems like it's hard to please each of them. All in all, does anyone think DE will ever be able to please everyone in the community? Or will we just get buckets of salt like usual?
