With Deadlock Protocol and the renewed tileset, duct taped windows should become the past.

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 11:05 AM PDT

Seriously, in 5 years I have never met a person who likes this "feature". Breakable windows are but a pointless minor annoyance, like a speed bump in a racing game. If Corpus can afford keeping opulent statues of their founder around the place, they can surely afford something they will be confident about not breaking themselves while they panic shoot all around when you try to cross the goddamn room on your toes.

It took numerous build upgrades, getting used to a lower dpi, lots of research and tons of practice, but after 58 days I finally took the Profit-Taker world record!

Why are we getting knockdowns on weapons that never had self damage?

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 06:54 PM PDT

I honestly prefered self damage over that terrible knockdown, and I get that its a way to counteract the powerful weapons that would normally do self damage; but why put this on random weapons that never had self damage to begin with? Its such an unwelcomed addition that just gets on my nerves since I cant play some of my favorite weapons anymore without this terrible "might as well take away my keyboard" knockdown. (i.e: Staticor, opticor, etc.)

I think DE really need to atleast keep these knockdowns on self damaging weapons, and maybe for weapons that weren't self damaging to either completely remove it or make it a minor stagger/flinch, since the complete knockdown just makes some weapons really unplayable.

supportive team made my day, thanks

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 06:16 PM PDT

Hi, I never post anywhere, but wanted to say thanks to some players of this game. Early early this morning, I played an excavation mission, and I don't even know how they work, and it keeps going until I don't have anymore relics, and the enemies are getting more and more powerful. Finally, I typed for help, and these people on my team I've never met before started giving me detailed instructions, explained how the mission worked, even guided me to extraction.

I'm a middle aged dad with a 2 year old, and I live in a big city and I'm worried about my family in these violent times. It means a lot to escape into a game for a few minutes and have some people be nice to you. Thank you, stay safe.

Mining pool pollution (not dilution) (6x less rare drops with Drop Chance Booster than without)

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 07:00 PM PDT

    Hello,

What are the chances we can get a fix for the mining problem that has been implemented?

    i have created a topic here ( https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1197146-mining-hesperon-moment-of-silence-for-baruuk-and-fortuna/ )

from the dicussion it would seem that 'Drop Chance Booster' literally demolishes rare resources since the addition of these useless quantity railjack resources in the mining pool.

those boosters can be for 30 days or more and no option to disable them when you go mining?

from what i tested, it took me almost 2 hours to get 36 hesperon with chance booster and half that time to get over 200 without booster.

not only that, but a long known problem is the amount of veins for ore (red) is severely reduced with the chance booster active.

my solution to resolving this problem if the railjack resources are going to stay is:

tripple or quadripple the red veins both with and without booster, even make the booster double that for 8x the red veins (since you get 6x less rare resources with the booster active)

or make a specific tool that gets these railjack resources.

like the Nosam Cutter the only mining tool to get them or something.

increasing the quantity of the railjack resources to make them useful wont change the fact that you almost never get rare ones with a booster active.

    Edit---------

actually thinking about it a little more and remembering something that i thought of a few days ago when i first had this problem.

why are those things not in the corrupted (copernics) and infested (pustrels) enemy drop tables? (they present a similar resemblance to those respective types of enemies)

of all the places they could be put, why dump them in mining?

the quantities needed dont account for what you need to spend, they dont even come close after 2 hours grind compared to 5min in railjack mission.

Carbides and Cubic Diodes were put on enemies, why not copernics and pustrels?

literally the one thing they are doing is making mining more tedious than it is.

if they are not going to be isolated to a specific tool or veins drastically increased, then please at least throw them into the enemy drops tables as i suggested above and take them out of mining.

It's been a year since Dual Colors were first introduced yet there are still items and aspects of the game that doesn't support it.

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 02:07 PM PDT

Here's to list a few that i know of:

    • Ephemera: Fae Path, Seeding Step, Smoking, Vengeful Chill and Flame, only works with main color
    • Cremata Syndana, same as above
    • Wyrm Prime smoke particle, same as above
    • Velocitus still uses the default blue smoke regardless of energy color even as host. Might be unrelated but a ton of weapons still uses the default blue glare
    • There's no dual energy color for landing craft yet there already exists on railjack
    • Both interior lighting of orbiter and railjack doesn't support dual colors
    • Operator sigil has dual colors but for some reason half of it is based on suit energy.

Why these exist the way they are i can only guess, maybe because they were left in the backburner and thus eventually forgotten by DE or maybe the thought never crossed their minds or maybe just plain old bugs.

Edit: Vengeful Flame works only if you have gpu particles enabled

Found out a not so fun fact today: if life support and mission timer in survival hit 0 at exactly the same time you can't extract

So with the Deadlock Protocol, are invasion tilesets getting a revamp as well?

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 05:46 PM PDT

Now that we're all doing them for Nightwave, this minor question makes me hope so. The tiles where the ship types connect (or tubedrop you into each other) are some of the weirdest looking and functioning in the game. I'd also be looking forward to not having narrow Corpus hallways being blocked by janky Grineer tube hitboxes.
