    This thread is for anyone to recruit or request others to help them out. It's open to all types of recruitment, and you can recruit any day of the week!

    Coming off a trip out into Deimos for Avichaea tags, I figured that the Tranq Rifle could use a few widgets of its own. There shouldn't be any reason for it not to, considering it looks like similar technology to the sunpoint plasma drill, to name one example, and shouldn't have any trouble applying modifications.

    So I had a few ideas.

    1 - A visual aid

    This widget would light up one of the diamonds around the center of the screen whenever a critter is nearby. This would be quite helpful to those who struggle with hearing in general as well as those who find difficulty in hearing the incredibly brief beeping noise over basically any other noise (like an archwing in motion)

    2 - A horizontal radar

    Similar in concept to the visual aid in that it utilizes a part of the tranq rifle's scope, but instead of changing a diamond, it would affect the arrows on either side of them. Simply put, only one arrow would appear instead of both, with the arrow pointing in the direction of a detected critter.

    3 - A muffler

    This may contradict widget #1 in some aspects, but I believe that it could serve as an alternative somehow. The muffler would simply mute any sound not associated with conservation activities (archwing engines, Fass/Vome yelling, Grineer rifles, etc.) while not muting conservation-related sounds (animal cries, the tranq rifle's beeps, etc.) so long as the player is aiming down the scope of their tranq rifle.

    4 - A pheromone dispenser

    This widget would simply allow a player to trade mass-producable pheromone pods (blueprint obtained in a similar manner to pherliac pods) to either make infested enemies as a whole less aggressive, or to make tendril drones ignore the player entirely, so long as the player is holding their tranq rifle out (Can't cheat with melees)

    5 - An exported sensor (credit to irreverentnoodles for this idea)

    Simply a target sensor removed from a sunpoint laser drill, rewired/reprogrammed, and inserted into the tranq rifle in place of its default sensor. This widget would cause the beeping that signifies a nearby creature to accelerate as the player's crosshair moves closer to a creature and decelerate as the crosshair moves away.

    6 - Advanced pressurization (credit to irreverentnoodles for this idea)

    Modifications made to the tranq rifle's propulsion system, or an entirely new propulsion system. This widget would allow for the tranq rifle to fire its darts with much more velocity, effectively making them hitscan.

    7 - Adjustable X-ray (credit to LoopStricken for this idea)

    Simply a more advanced filter for the tranq rifle's scope. This widget would cause the highlight color of nearby animals (the silhouette seen through walls when the rifle beeps) to change color automatically to adapt and better contrast the environment (eg. becoming green on Deimos while Earth may remain orange)

    8 - Argon lens (credit to WhatABlindManSees for this idea)

    Less of a widget and more of a consumable, a player would be able to purchase a reusable blueprint from a vendor of their choice that would allow them to create an artificial scope lens with an argon crystal, at a 1-to-1 ratio. This lens would allow the player to see the recent movements of nearby creatures (like a scentrail or trail of pawprints) but would decay upon extraction or catching a certain amount of creatures (exact number undecided). Players would be able to carry multiple of these lenses at a time, and would have the full opportunity to opt out of using them, as they would need to be applied from the gear interface (bottom-right of the screen) after equipping the tranq rifle from the gear wheel in order to take effect.

    They should add a system for leaving parties in a standard mission, similar to that in the plains

    I think it would be a great idea for multiple reasons. Oftentimes a glitched level like a door you cant get through or a mission timer that wont progress (commonplace in the zariman) can be fixed by the host aborting the mission. However the hosts rarely ever want to abort the mission seeing as they'll lose their stuff. I can't think of a reason why there shouldn't be a system where you can leave the host and create your own little party without losing all the progress in the level. This would also fix the situations where you want to extract but your team doesn't want to, or those annoying moments where your team extracts despite you not wanting to.

    I'm not much of a fashionframer, but as far as I can tell the Pride palette is top notch, if not THE BEST palette you can get(and way cheaper than others). It has a really good black, a really good white, and a good variety of other colors.
