    Requiem Mods confirmed to be consumed on Lich vanquish

    The Prime Time #266 overview has been updated by the 'Becster, now stating

    Post Stream note: Requiem Mods are earned with charges, that are only consumed on a successful vanquishing of a Lich. Repeat Requiem Mods in your collection will eventually go to good use, so getting duplicates won't be disappointing if you are using Requiem Relics to acquire things like Riven Fragments, Weapon Adapters, and more!

    Note the wording, as it specifically notes vanquish instead of defeat, meaning that the mods are most likely not consumed if the lich is converted, as indicated by the following note near the bottom of the page.

    Weapons do not come with slots, and you always get a custom version to your Lich if you choose to Vanquish. If you choose to Convert, they keep their weapon but can join you in battles."

    The mods also won't be consumed upon failure to kill, such as with an incorrect mod pattern. Make of this what you will.

    Hydroid Needs Help - 330% Power Strength for 82.5 damage at a 6.6% increase per second on Undertow? 2640 damage on his 4 when charged and cast from Undertow? Nuke frames galore and then there’s Hydroid: pitiful dps, slow casting speed, no energy = no survivability. Can dude get a buff or a new 2nd?

    Simulacrum should be so much more

    I think that Simulacrum can be greatly improved and it can also be the ultimate beginner tool/guide/tutorial room type of thing beside many other things.

     

    Here are some of the suggestions for how to make the Simulacrum better in my opinion:

    Accessibility

    • Beginner players should be able to access it straight away or with a minimal effort to unlock it.

    • It should be accessible from the orbiter. We could have a chair somewhere in the orbiter and VR googles or something like that.

     

    Interactive guides/tutorials

    I think that it's a really missed opportunity that they haven't used a Simulacrum as an interactive tutorial/guide room for all kind of things.

     

    • Teach newbies how to mod the weapons, how to expand the capacity with potatoes, how to polarize slots with forma...

     

    • Teach them how each elemental damage type affects enemies by showing them how to mod for specific damage type and then make them shoot the enemies to showcase.

     

    • Boss fight tutorials can also be showcased inside of the Simulacrum with interactive step by step guide.

     

    and much more...

     

    Give us all the things to test

    In my opinion we should be able to use/test all existing weapons/frames/mods from the game, even if we don't own them.

    It would be a great way to see how the weapon handles, how it looks, how it performs etc. before we get the actual weapon.

     

    Let us potato and forma all the things

    As we all know forma-ing weapons/frames is a tedious process that takes time.

    Give us the ability to instantly and temporarily polarize and potato our weapons and frames inside of the Simulacrum.

    It would be a really nice way to test the builds and decide how we want to polarize before we spend our time on actually polarizing and leveling the weapons/frames.

     

    More rooms

    There should be all kind of different rooms that we can choose from.

     

    Additional rooms could be obtainable as a rewards from the missions(like capturas)

     

    More enemies

    Let us spawn more enemies at once and simulate waves of enemies.

    For example: choose the enemies and choose how many waves you want.

     

    Presets

    Let us make a presets for enemies that we want to spawn and the presets for the aforementioned test builds (save our test mod configuration and polarization)

     

    Maybe some of these features could be unlocked by installing segments...

    Can't invite anyone, and friends list not loading. Anyone else getting this issue?
    EDIT: Seems to be a steam issue.

    Lantern drain rate seems to be affected by fps

    I investigated why some people seem to have problems with the Halloween tactical alert (endurance mode) while others say it's pretty easy.

    Joined a friend's game and it was draining like 20%/second past 8 minutes. Felt like something was wrong so I set my fps limit to 30 in my game and the lantern was barely draining at all.

    td;dr If you're having problems with the event check if you're at >60fps or uncapped fps, and try setting a fps cap of 30 or 60.
