- I was playing around in Captura to get a clip of Protea's time reverse, and when i paused it i noticed that the Granade Fan did this crazy effect, so i snapped it. Hope you guys like it, wonder what causes it.

The 'middle man' waypoints are flawed Posted: 20 Jun 2020 08:11 PM PDT Why not just cut them out and waypoint the doors directly, immediately, upon entering the tiles (or do both). The middle man waypoints result in situations seen on Gas City and Corpus Ship where the game will waypoint the middle of a tiny room for no reason, so you have to get closer before it waypoints one of the doors that you were staring straight at. The middle man waypoints result in the game telling you to walk down or up stairs when bullet jump exists. In very small rooms the waypoints will spaz out as it is flicking between multiple points very quickly before showing clearly where to go, which happens when parkouring or flying fast. Scenarios like these hinder the new tilesets from being any more friendly or exciting to parkour and speed than any of the older tiles (both new and old suffer from this all the time), since the game handholds you to where you need to go otherwise it's a blind guess. Lotus should indicate that there is an Ayatan Sculpture in a mission Posted: 20 Jun 2020 10:07 PM PDT With the introduction of Corpus tileset rework it became clear to me that since Gas City rework, I haven't found none sculpture on reworked tilesets and the same applies now to reworked Corpus ship and labs tilesets. Spotting sculptures in the old tilesets was just either hindsight or finding them in obvious plain view. The maps now are waaay to long with large rooms, even though I have found an abnormal number of ayatan stars the sculptures are yet to be seen. While I was playing some missions to finish nightwave I came across the Silvergrove and the hidden caches lotus transmissions. Then I had this idea, in the mission briefing Lotus should also tell the player that "Tenno my sensors are indicating the presence of a treasure. An ancient relic of Orokin origin, find it." A little thought about Kuva Liches Posted: 20 Jun 2020 07:59 PM PDT Kuva is a resource that allows for the transfer of consciousness between bodies. Instead of blasting through a slog of different Kuva Liches like a grocery list, I think it would make more sense to have your Kuva Lich transfer their consciousness into another body when they die (just one Lich per tenno). Gameplay-wise instead of hunting for the next larvling the Lich would disappear from the player's radar temporarily before coming back in a new body. This is where I feel a small quest should've been implemented to introduce your own unique Kuva Lich. The reviving Lich mechanic would give the player a closer attachment to their nemesis and open up more potential dialogue. Such as commenting on a weapon you've used to kill them before, reminiscing about the location of a previous battle, or showing off their new appearance. Stuff like this would feed into the relentless nature of a Kuva Lich, perpetually chasing after a tenno. However, a lot of mechanics such as Kuva Lich scaling, thralls, and Kuva fissures may have to be reworked. I know DE is very busy with an upcoming tennocon reveal, however, I feel we've been left in the dark for too long. I'm hoping we at least get some news regarding a Kuva Lich remaster because as I see it, there is an amount of effort put into the current Kuva Lich system and it would be a waste to leave it in its current state. TLDR; Kuva Liches should revive themselves because Kuva and I'm worried DE has already given up on the kingpin system. [link] [comments] | ||
