Necramech fights are the very epitome of mandatory cheese Posted: 30 Aug 2020 05:12 PM PDT Loving this update, but it always astound me how the devs try to stop players from cheesing bosses, then turn around and make bosses that are so restrictive that you literally have no other choice. Status immune? Check Passive scaling damage reduction on top of armor reduction to invalidate most weapons? Check Warframe ability immunity? Check Warframe ability dispel? Check Completely immune to damage outside of small weakpoints? Check!
This doesn't mention all the other bugs like the debilitating slow AoE's visual indicator not even close to representing it's area. It's not like this fight is impossible, just cheese it with something like Octavia without even looking at them! But if you actually want to just fight them normally good luck because these enemies were designed, from the ground up, to cheese you if you don't cheese them. Been playing this game for 6 years and this is one of the shittiest enemies I've ever faced, a culmination of all the things that players don't like about this game. Please stop pushing difficulty in this direction. It's not difficult, it's just annoying. Please. Edit : To reiterate I do think this update as a whole is great, don't take this post as post discouraging people from playing it, take it as a critical focus on a very specific problem of an enemy that is so badly designed it just encourages you to use exploits or avoid their mechanics entirely. Edit 2 : TLDR - Necramechs use an old formula for difficulty that has aged terribly. There needs to be a new approach that isn't just recycling the same hated mechanics over and over. personally I think there is more room to grow with a sort of bullet hell difficulty, emphasizing mobility and learning attack patterns, which would actually make fights feel more unique and encourage learning their mechanics. Forget Scintillant, Thaumica and Necrathene, where's my infected boot from fishing? Posted: 30 Aug 2020 06:54 AM PDT It's a sin that the previous 2 open worlds had a boot and Cambion Drift doesn't. I want my b00t. [link] [comments]

Please Stop Running Nekros On Deimos With Dark Red Energy Posted: 30 Aug 2020 05:33 PM PDT everything on deimos is dark red please choose a color that colorblind players won't be completely unable to pick out from the normal enemies, it makes the game incredibly frustrating to play as a colorblind warframe player, nekros is already hard enough to deal with unless you're using bright blue or some other very obviously non-enemy color, please for the love of god change your energy color for deimos, i don't care what color you choose just don't choose red [link] [comments]

I hope DE re-runs Scarlet Spear BEFORE they proceed to the next stage of The New War Posted: 30 Aug 2020 06:46 PM PDT Being the first formal step in the Sentient's invasion of the Origin system, the first time they engage us in open combat, it's a pretty big part of the narrative For some of us who missed it due to life and work reasons, it'd be really appreciated if we got a chance to experience it first a few weeks before the next stage of the event. Necramechs dropping all 16 Necramech mods at a rate of 10% is bad. Add NM mods to Loid's Syndicate. Posted: 30 Aug 2020 11:59 AM PDT You'll still be killing Necramechs for the Matrices to unlock the mods, and we'll have a reason to unlock rank 3 in the Syndicate. While DE works on adding the 4th and 5th rank, we'll have a use for excess standing. When DE inevitably releases content that requires the Necramech, players lacking the essentials (Vitality, Redirection, Steel Fiber) will have a method to obtain them, rather than bogging a group down with a glass 'Mech.
