Let organise enemies in squads Posted: 05 Feb 2021 01:46 PM PST Ok, so I have been playing for 2 years so I think that this idea has some merit My objective with putting enemies in organised squad is to reduce the chaos a little and give room for more decision making, with consistent squads we could approximate how many enemies we have in one place and which types, for example a bombard would be an squad leader, this would mean that by every bombard we have X number of lancers, X number of butchers, etc. This would make threat assessment easier in the middle of large scale fight against a horde 30 enemies, we also could make them get buffs based in the state of the squad, like the presence of the leader or not making a big difference Just an idea though [link] [comments]
Frame concept idea - Kopya the Synthesis warframe Posted: 05 Feb 2021 07:54 PM PST Lore - A once lost "Prototype" frame made by Cephalon Simaris to help him expand the Sanctuary and be his helper for tests. Give Simaris some more insight of his past maybe. Stats 130 Shields 100 health. 150 armor 175 energy 1.2 sprint speed 1st Ability: Contention/25 energy cost Kopya swipes their hand to release a cone of energy that slows and stagger enemies and provide allies with shield/health regen for 10s. Enemies affected by this ability are scanned. 2nd Ability: Stimulus/75 energy cost Kopya creates a stationary 8m zone which grants allies a flat 15% ability efficiency and a 25% buff on ability strength/range which both scales off of power strength. This zone lasts for 20s 3rd Ability: Deficiency/50 energy cost + 6 energy per second. Kopya goes into a hyper state where it create a 20m zone that follows it. Any enemy who enters the zone will have their health siphoned while losing armor/shields. Enemies who enter the zone are scanned. 4th: Sanctuary/25 energy cost Kopya will point towards a target and scan them creating a 15s specter of an enemy/ally casted on it. These Specters will be identical to their counterpart other than being surrounded by synthesis cubes and only having 50% of their stats( shield, health, armor) Specters made by enemies will function as an enemy and follow their counterpart however killing these specters will create a damaging 20m explosion that will deal all of it's health as blast damage and knockdown enemies. Specters made by allies will follow their counterpart and use whatever weapon they're currently using and cast the same abilities too. (they're coping them basically). When Ally specters die, they will create a blinding 20m explosion that blinds enemies. Only 10 specters can be made at a time and you cannot copy the same target if their specter is still active. Holding down this ability will detonate all the specters prematurely. Synergies: -Casting Sanctuary on an enemy/ally affected by Contention will create two specters. Passive: Comprehension Scanned enemies deal 50% less damage to Kopya Not exactly sure on the gender of this frame and the aesthetics would probably be similar to the simulacrum's design. Let me know your thoughts tho!. [link] [comments]

Why is there still no in game tutorial for Railjack ? Posted: 05 Feb 2021 08:36 AM PST I'm kinda pissed that I was getting my ass handed to me on a Star Trek adventure and still had to go to YouTube to figure out most of this and thank you tactical Potato . Edit 1 : what I mean by in game tutorial I mean how to upgrade different parts of the ship / get better parts . Edit2: I agree with some people in the comments about how youtubers /vet players give there own tutorials and I learn what to do from it. [link] [comments]
Make demos invisible until later in the star chart. Posted: 05 Feb 2021 10:12 AM PST I've had a few people quit the game because they thought they needed to do demos first (don't ask me why). But I also think that it (and maybe the other open worlds) should remain locked off for a bit. Maybe once you get to ceres, you get a distress call from Konzu and a corpus Advertisement about "Nef Anyo's new Orb Vallis Project." Because A: It's a bad idea for new players to spend lots of time in the open worlds early on, and B: they're typically too high level for them. But at the very least, make demos invisible until Jupiter or something. This would also help reduce the amount of info new players are expected to learn at the start and keep them progressing along the main game path. I await counter-arguments and critiques in the comments. Edit: Most people think "notify new players that the open worlds are mid-to late game," is the best way to go. I personally disagree, because you can spend LOTS of time in open worlds not progressing through the Star chart (where new players need to spend most of their time). So I really think hard locking them off is the way to go until the complete the Jupiter junction (Ceres to Jupiter). I also think hiding Demos on the map entirely makes for a good intro to "hidden locations" if you catch my meaning .... [link] [comments] |
