    Free Ignis Wraith Supply Center

    https://preview.redd.it/kvz8rskvwuk61.png?width=1075&format=png&auto=webp&s=2d84e2ff2081c86bb4bfcc38c6dbbb7a2bac5065

Yes this is still going and will always be going. These are the new rules Ignis Wraith will forever be 0 plat as the Syndicate Community's gift to the Warframe Community.

Yes we see you Ignis scammers mass downvoting and manipulating the forum mods to take down the post we had there. You cant stop this no matter how hard you try the price is 0p live with it.

How to participate (now formatted to help you better skip the parts that do not apply directly to you.)

To get just your personal batch of 6

    1. Go to discord.gg/syndicate.
    2. Click #discord-role-setup on the center popup.
    3. Click the #9 reaction (this grants you the Ignis Wraith Comrade role which gives you an easy to use trimmed version of the our server).
    4. Go to #ignis-wraith-supply-center under the Management category.
    5. When you are online to receive a batch type your in game name and your MR. MR is because you must be MR 9 to obtain the Ignis Wraith we do not make this rule DE does. Please feel free to come back when you reach MR 9 if you are not yet there.
      1. Please refrain from other discussions in this channel such as casual greetings, this channel is business oriented the less unrelated spam it has the more people we can rely on to not mute the channel.
      2. Players on consoles other then PC will take a significant time until responded to as we do not yet have a discord for any console clans.
    6. Wait this may take a while for someone to contact you but you will be contacted.
    7. In game supplier list also available at the bottom of this post for those that wish to try this without discord these players have vowed to supply Ignis Wraiths. This is likely the harder method but for those that dislike discord the option is available.
      1. Players interested in joining this list please comment your in game name, platform, and "join list".

To become a supplier by purchasing a large batch of Ignis Wraith from our dojo this is very credit intensive, new players please use the instructions above, this is not your section.

    1. Go to discord.gg/syndicate.
    2. Close out the pop up welcome screen.
    3. Go to #requests-of-officers.
    4. Type your in game name, MR, and "Become Ignis Wraith Supplier".
    5. Wait this may take a while for someone to contact you but you will be contacted.
    6. Once you have received your Ignis Wraith supply you have no obligation to the server or clan and are free to leave as you wish.

Utilize your supply of Ignis Wraith to support this process

    1. Go to warframe.market And post 1000 of them at 1p this helps people who do not find this Reddit post and our server get them.
      1. When you give out a batch of 6 using this method mark those 6 as sold on warframe.market to improve the price accuracy of the graph.
    2. Go to discord.gg/syndicate
    3. Click #discord-role-setup on the center popup
    4. Click the #9 reaction
    5. Go to #ignis-wraith-supply-center under the warframe category
    6. Simply watch the channel for people requesting Ignis Wraith. Use the :Inprogress: react to signify you are getting it. :approved: to signify You have completed the request, :unavailable: to signify they where not able to respond to your DM's, and :denied: to signify there is a reason they can not get an Ignis Wraith.
    7. When possible give players 6 Ignis Wraith instead of 1, this encourages supply saturation they will be able to give their 5 friends or clan mates an Ignis Wraith saving our supply chain the trouble.

How to Distribute your 5, bulk stack, or clan supply

    1. Go to warframe.market and place a sell order for 1p.
      1. Make sure to open warframe.market before each play session to ensure it registers you as logged in.
      2. When someone contacts you via warframe.market to buy please mark a "sold" unit for each Ignis Wraith you gave them to help influence the price chart.
    2. Post WTS orders in trade chat for free Ignis Wraiths.
    3. Watch either our discord channels #ignis-wraith-supply-center and use the servers :approved: react when you handle someone for us, or ask your warlord to forward the channel to one in your server.
    4. Set a trade chat filter for "Ignis Wraith" and respond to people wanting to buy it by offering it for free.

Alright guys now that we have clear cut instructions its time for all the unimportant sappy stuff.

New rule same as the old rules:

Last time we published this we had people go out of their way to DM and harass people who sell Ignis Wraith for plat. Yah don't do that Do not get yourself banned over those fools. Just put them on ignore list to deprive them of any sales from you in the future and call it a day. If you really wanna spite them set trade chat filter to "Ignis Wraith" and post "WTS Free [Ignis Wraith]" immediately after each of their sale posts that is the furthest you should take it.

    Why we do this:

There are a lot of good reasons to do this. The big one is simply giving back to the community that has made the Syndicate clans so successful. We know the stigma of large clans evil, large clans don't love their members. The community has done a great job of looking past that stigma to recognize the efforts we make to make every player matter. Today we extend making every player matter past our own community walls and to all of you. It has always been Syndicate clans policy to never charge a clan member for Ignis Wraith, we are simply extending that policy to the community. And now a few additional reasons to do this.

    1. Fuck scammers charging 15p for this.
    2. Supporting newish players during Warframes historical low point.
    3. Pride's massive ego requires constant approval from all of you.
    4. We do not need to be a guide of the lotus or a partner to help the community. We need only to identify what we have that others do not.

Rules blame DE for most of them:

    1. You must be MR9 to collect (DE rule).
    2. Must have 2FA account security (DE rule).
    3. You must accept 6 of them and pledge to distribute 5 for free (My rule).
    4. You will need 12,000 credits for the system wide trade tax and 0 credits for clan tax (DE rule).
    5. You will need to place any random item for trade we suggest ammo box its more worthless than an opinion (DE rule).

The wiki shouldn't be a replacement for in-game information.

    Posted: 03 Mar 2021 10:47 AM PST

Warframe has persistent issues with not clearly communicating its mechanics in game. I'm not talking about just about minor stuff; I'm talking about the fact that very, very few things in game actually clarify whether they're providing additive or multiplicative buffs, when that significantly matters when assessing the functionality of a mod. I'm also talking about how I literally had to look up what evasion did on the wiki, because I didn't know if it reduced enemy accuracy or made occasional bullets pass through you or what. Or the fact that the vigilante mod set "enhances" critical hits, by making them the next tier of crit, i.e. applying the critical multiplier again. Or the fact that the weird thing making the feet of enemies near exima glow is actually them gaining elemental damage resistance (although this one's a bit more justifiable, because it's obvious something's happening and it's not too hard to guess or figure out what). Or the fact that, when I last checked, the behavior of Chroma's Elemental Ward isn't really stated in game (simply giving a vague description that it gives buffs and a bunch of numbers without context). Or the fact that, until I was doing wiki research for this post, I didn't know Revenant's Reave, Saryn's Molt, and Hildryn's Pillage cleansed status effects (and I own 2/3 of those). Or the fact that I'm still not entirely sure what Leech (not energy leech, just leech) Exima do. Or even the fact that you can buy weapon blueprints, as has infamously been memed on periodically.

The loading screen tips are insult to injury on this. Looking through the wiki for the list of them, many of them reference mechanics that are no longer in the game (alerts, self-damage, limited revives per warframe per day, manual blocking, channeling, stamina). Others simply state game mechanics; half the time this is pointless (i.e. stating what a mod or ability does), and the other half, the information it's communicating isn't available anywhere else when it really should be (like Rhino's Iron Skin preventing status effects) or is just plain bad (cracking containers and lockers if you're low on credits). Likewise for the "tips" on warframe abilities; "tips" are supposed to be advice on clever things to do, not explanations of mechanics that you couldn't fit into your excessively minimalist UI (and the fact that the only way to read through tips is by tabbing through them one at a time doesn't help).

I'm not saying everything has to be perfectly explained. It's ok for there to be some mechanics that aren't obvious and have to be either figured out or learned from the community. Some mechanics are clear enough even if they're not perfectly elaborated on (you know what armor does just from the name, and the exact calculation being provided is overkill). But when abilities and weapons just flat-out don't say what they do, and major mechanics are obfuscated, something's gone wrong. I mean... I like the minimalist design of the new ability screen as much as the next person in terms of aesthetics, and I know the codex exists, but it wouldn't be hard to at least toss on a few clarifying statements (like (additive) or (multiplicative) after percentage increases, or making the displayed stats for abilities have clearer names than just "damage"). Also, please rewrite the loading screen tips — or, heck, make it a community contest to write and submit new tips, since the players are probably better at knowing what information is and isn't useful. (And, if the tips become actually useful, why not add a codex tab where you can scroll through and view all of them?)

    Improvements for Loading Screen Tips

    Posted: 03 Mar 2021 09:30 PM PST

While I was ranting about the lack of information on the wiki, I called out that loading screen tips frequently ranged from pointless to factually incorrect, and mentioned community-sourced alternatives. Well, I'm part of the community, so I figured I'd write up some sample tips (including some "rare"/easter egg tips, and some that don't appear without quest progress, even though I'm not sure if the technology permits either of those things — I can dream, can't I?). I've tried to avoid putting in "tips" that are actually just mechanics, though I admit to a few failures; in general, though, I've aimed for subjective advice over objective facts. I'm also assuming that the few good tips (like alerting your team when the lights flicker) are being left in. Finally, I'm not putting in tips that boil down to "there are substantial problems with Warframe, here's how to work around them/take the one actually good option", because I want things that could at least theoretically appear in game.

    • "Low on credits? If you're skilled, you can win more at Nef Anyo's Index on Neptune."

    • "A mod's stats are multiplied by its rank, so it's much more effective to run a few high-rank mods than a lot of low-rank ones."

    • "You earn mastery ranks by gaining mastery on your gear. Try to increase all of your gear to Rank 30 before getting rid of it."

    • "Endless missions like Defense and Survival are good ways to gain void relics."

    • After Second Dream: "The focus multiplier for focus orbs has a limited duration. When you get one, it might be worthwhile to change what you're doing so you can kill as many enemies as possible."

    • After The War Within: "You can revive allies while in Void Mode. Use this to safely revive allies who are surrounded by enemies."

    • After The War Within, and also bad advice that I really wish was good advice: "Your amp is like a third weapon. Pick an amp that covers territory your weapons don't handle as well, and use it as a problem-solving tool."

    • "The bubbles Nullifiers project are extremely dangerous — not only do they block abilities, they prevent you from using abilities while inside of them, and deactivate any abilities you may have active."

    • "When you're doing an endless mission with a Void Fissure, make sure everyone has collected all 10 of their void traces before you end the mission, even if that means leaving an extractor unpowered or letting enemies capture a signal tower."

    • "Don't worry about splitting up to handle multiple objectives; while you're near a mission objective like a signal tower, you're automatically within affinity range of your whole squad."

    • "Taking the reward from an ally's Void Relic gives them Void Traces. If you get the same reward from your relic and an ally's, why not take theirs and give them a little bonus?"

    • "While Warframe abilities can be improved in multiple ways, not every Warframe benefits equally from all of them. Think about which aren't as useful for your frame, and save slots by not modding for them."

    • "Try lots of different gear! It'll help you find things you like, and even if you don't, you can level the gear up to increase your mastery rank."

    • "Stances make melee weapons much stronger by increasing their mod capacity, but they also substantially change your moveset. Try different stances, and find which works best for you."

    • "Look at your weapon's stats, and let those inform how you mod it. It's generally better to have a weapon that's great at inflicting critical hits or status conditions than a weapon that's mediocre at both."

    • "Make sure to play limited-time events! They can give powerful, rare, or even unique rewards."

    • "When you're hacking, you're vulnerable. Be careful so you aren't killed while you're trying to open a door."

    • "Your mobility is one of your greatest strengths. Stay on the move with bullet jumps and air glides, or enemies will gun you down."

    • "Beware of the Toxin status and certain Infested abilities — they ignore shields and damage your health directly."

    • "Take higher-level enemies lightly, and you'll quickly learn that 4 revives doesn't get you very far."

    • "Everything has a value, even if it's just from melting it down into Endo or selling it at Maroo's Bazaar."

    • "Larger fish won't give you any more of their unique products, but they'll help feed a lot of hungry mouths in Cetus."

    • "The Origin System is a dangerous place. You have the power to make it a bit better."

    • After... Natah? No, probably The New Strange: "Hit a Sentient too many times with the same type of damage, and they'll become resistant to it. If you're going somewhere you might find Sentients, bring weapons with different damage types."

    • After Once Awake, if DE actually remembers that Infested are supposed to be introduced a little later (presumably this clause would also be added to the other thing that mentions Infested, but that's not just about them): "Individually, most Infested aren't much of a threat. If you aren't careful, though, they'll quickly overwhelm you."

    • After The War Within: "Once you have a Kuva Lich mad at you, it won't be easy to get rid of them. Don't create one if you don't think you can handle it."

    • "Selling Prime parts or rare mods to other Tenno is a good way to make platinum."

    • "You can use your starting platinum to buy more slots for Warframes or weapons, so you can start accumulating a bigger arsenal as you find weapons or Warframes you like using."

    Rare "Tips":

    • Locked behind The War Within: "I hope you didn't forget about me, kiddo."

    • "Who is the Lotus?"

    • "Clem! Clem Grakata? Grakata. Clem Clem. Clem Grakata Clem."

    • "It might not feel like much. It might feel like you're fighting insurmountable odds. But already, you've saved countless lives. Keep up the good work, Tenno."

Let me know in the comments if there's any tips you think I left out, or if you think I've put bad advice or just game mechanics without any tips in here!

1)the indicator around the octavia can be hard to see with them moving around

2)the music can easily be overpowered by in game noise

3)initially didn't consider this but inadvertently this would help players with hearing disabilities
